The Cumulus 25 is a redesign which feels and looks drastically different from past models. It triggered joint pain on the first walk. It might be more of a fashion shoe instead of an athletic one.

I have been a happy Nimbus and Cumulus user for over 15 years. I have even stuck by Asics during the shoe-size craziness from 5 years ago. I can't figure out why Asics have to keep changing sole design every year. I wore the Cumulus 24 for 2-3 walks and started to get back and hip pain because they have more cushion than usual. I've had to go to the doctor and now PT in order to fix these issues. I called Asic to see if I could return the practically new shoe for an older model, but they said that was not their policy. And looking at the newest models of Cumulus and Nimbus coming out, they are trying to compete with Hoka. If I wanted a Hoka shoe, I'd buy one. But now I'm going to have to either search the internet for older models or choose a new shoe. So sad.

After wearing multiple generations of the Cumulus, I'm sad to say that this will no longer be running shoe for long distances. Cumulus 23 & 24 are too soft for me and they cause foot pain.

I usually love ASICS but this shoe causes severe knee pain making it hard to walk.

The gel part in the back has completely split from the sole of the shoe, ruining the structure and support of the shoe. This is after just a month of wear.

Did not give me the support I needed for running. I have high arches and this sneaker is not for people with high arches
