I ordered this a gift for.My adult graddaughter with her initials. I offered the large in navy. She loved it! She was recently married and I ordered it with her new last name Iinitial! A great gift!

I purchased the large tote bag with long handles so I can swoop it over my shoulder. It's way sturdier than I thought and fits the perfect amount of things I need it for - couple of towels, sunscreen, extra clothes, and then some. It's also perfect for a road trip for all the miscellaneous items. We got it embroidered. I couldn't be happier with my first LL Bean purchase!

I can see why these get so many 5 star reviews. I'm the pilot of an antique airplane (1943) that doesn't have a baggage compartment. The plane has tandem seating so whatever I carry has to set on the narrow back seat. I needed something I could stow my camping equipment in. This is perfect. I can fit my cot, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, plus personal items in this bag and keep it contained in the back seat when I fly on overnight trips to airshows and camping events. I had mine personalized with a monogram. This bag uses fantastic materials and is well made. I can't imagine ever wearing it out. I like this bag so well, I plan to order these (in smaller sizes) as gifts for family members!

The bag is excellent quality. It will last for years.

Love it, had it monogrammed. Always wanted one, holds a ton, just used it as an overnite bag, plenty of room for everyting.

This bag looks like quality and performs like quality! I bought two as "investments" for two sisters under 10 years old for their camp and vacation gear knowing that they would have them for years. I received one 11 years ago and have washed it as needed. It comes out of the dryer like new. The stitching, the color and the fabric hold up without signs of wear or weakening. The strapes are wide enough to handle the heavy loads I need to carry from my car to my apartment. You get what you pay for, and this bag is reasonably priced for its years of quality and durability. I would not dream of buying any other brand.

My daughter loves the bag because it has her initials on it!! Great for travel and carrying school items.

I've been a licensed massage therapist with an in-home practice for 32 years. For each and and every one of the tens of thousands of house calls I have made I have carried this tote for sheets, lotions, pillows, etc. No need to ever use anything else. Hi - As a college professor, I have used the L.L. Bean regular sized boat/tote for many years. Before Covid19, I would put my laptop and all my lecture materials and pens and PowerPoint pointer and notepads into the tote and those materials stayed put and were readily available. Even now, as I am a part-time musician and as places to go are opening up, I can put my gear (cables, mic, small pedalboard) in that bag and everything is right there, ready to go. It all sounds so simple, but if you need a bag that is not too large, one that is sturdy and can hold some weight, I recommend this tote. I've used other brands but somehow they collapse down on the sides and don't stay "up" as long as the L.L. Bean. Thanks for letting me write this review.

Purchased as a Gift for Family member. Monogram made it Special as Beach bag and numerous other uses for everyday purposes. A Big Hit! Will buy again.

Traditional Cape Cod …so handy and strong..great quick service

Our three-year-old grandson has one of these and uses it extensively, especially for trips to grandma and grandpa's house. Very roomy, holds everything from stuffed animals to his little backpack with extra clothes, etc. New baby now has his own, with his three letter monogram. Very happy with the quality and delivery.

After a family member gave me an extra large LL Bean tote bag embroidered with the name of my boat, I have made it a "go to" gift for others. Whether for hauling books, camping gear, baby gear, pet supplies, groceries, laundry, hobby supplies, or anything else portable, thes bags are great and monogramming makes them special. No worries about fit, style, or whether the recipient will like your gift. It's a classic!

Always the best product, never a question about how it's going to look. The LL Bean tote I got from a friend in 2003 is still going strong. Repeated washings never daunt. Always coming back to the source.

I use this as my beach bag and it fits everything I need for a family of 4. Towels, toys, sunscreen, everything fits!! Very good quality, sturdy, and I love the embroidery option.

This was just the right size and can be used when traveling

We were sailors for almost 30 years and LL Bean Boat Totes became a staple for carrying provisions to the boat, packing beach towels for a trip ashore and many more things. For her bridal shower last year, I got my daughter the medium zip top with long handles with her new monogram. She loved it. This year she dropped a hint she'd like the large one. I got her two - one with regular handles (great for lugging heavy stuff and one with long straps for lighter loads (gear for gym, picnic in the park), as it can go on your shoulder. Now it looks like she has matched luggage. LLBean totes are sturdiest, have best handles and last longer than other that may appear similar!
