Best tote bags. Sturdy, durable. They get better with age. We use them for everything in our house, with monograms: books, recycling, groceries, sports gear, etc.

My mother has had the same bag for over 35 years I purchased two for my daughters around 15 years ago they still have theirs. This Christmas I bought 3 one for my 5 year old granddaughter and my daughter in-law and one for a friend I know at this age they will have something to remember me by when I'm gone

The best there can be. I had this monogrammed to hold a holiday gift and I am so proud to give it. It is beautifully done.

I have several of these bags and just love them, I use them every day and for many things, but they are extremely helpful as grocery totes, as they do not break, items are better protected and a lot easier to carry.

I just bought two of these tote bags for my young adult children. The bags seem almost identical (well, maybe a bit cleaner!) to the ones I received when I was their age 30+ years ago. Love, love, love that they're still made in Maine.

Boat and Tote bags are the quintessential gift from Maine. Their quality makes them a life long treasure. They are so versatile, a must have for anyone!

I've been wanting a couple of these for a long time, and I'm glad I finally got them. They are very sturdy, even more so than I thought they would be. This allows them to stand up on their own, which is one of my favorite things about them.At my co-op grocery, you bring your own bags and bag your own groceries, that's one of the main things I got these tote bags for. Having them stand up makes the process much easier. I see that these have been made since the 1940s, and I can certainly understand why. I'm glad they're still making them, and that they have maintained the quality. They feel like an old-fashioned item in the best sense of being well made in a way that not many things are anymore.

These totes are a classic "go-to" gift for people of all ages (14+). They last forever, and can be used for anything from sleepovers, to weekend getaways, to a day at the beach/pool, etc.
