I use this style of tote as my secondary work bag for lunch, gloves, umbrella and all the extra things I need for a day in the office. I have ordered several colors of handles with different colored initials to accessorize with my handbags. These totes are sturdy, hold their shape and are stylish. I adore them!!

Nothing compares to Boat&Tote quality. This tote bag is classic, minimalistic but totally chic and timeless. Effortless New England style that I acquired from my super fabulous grandparents and now will pass down to my daughter (16 yrs old). Only wish the rest of my wardrobe was as everlasting as the Boat & Tote.

This is just the right size for so many things. Right now I am using it to hold toys that we move from room to room depending on where we have the twins playing.

I bought this bag primarily to carry groceries into the house. Absolutely no worries at all about overloading the bag and having it break. These things are heavy duty, to say the least. It's also nice that they're rigid enough to stand upright on their own, making it easy to put things in. Very well built and good looking, too. Good purchase.

Store was able to quickly embroider this bag for me to give as a holiday gift

We have 4 large bags and one mini (which transports our travel games) the large ones are for everything from grocery shopping at home and when traveling, also it's an extra travel bag for clothing. I also use it during the holiday to safely transport presents 'house to house'! Weight of items never a concern! 1 was bought in 1982 as a work carryall tote- has the same design. No wearing and continues in great condition - but-to be honest I never used it for outdoor things. My adult daughters are hooked on them too! One has hers in her car trunk for 'stuff' and the other daughter uses hers indoors for her knitting and ongoing yarn projects! This is by far the sturdiest tote I have ever owned!

These did not disappoint! They are beautiful and oh so adorable. Got the larger one for work in order to carry my laptop and other files. The smaller one is perfect for everyday essentials and some. Will be using these everyday!

I ordered the large Boat and Tote as a holiday gift. It arrived in plenty of time to purchase my own monogramming. I was disappointed that LLBean could not accommodate my personalization order in time for Christmas shipping. Still, happy it arrived with time to spare. P.S. my gift recipient LOVED her gift!
