Love the bags- they are great for use on the boat and shopping. Only issue with this order- we chose monogramming on the order, but none of the bags were monogrammed. But, we like the bags.

Love these bags. Have had one for over 10 years and still does the job. We abuse these bags~can withstand it all! Canvas is a bit stiff initially but after some TLC and constant use (and abuse in our case) it becomes nice and soft, yet still durable. Have one for every member of the family. We use these for the beach, boating, pool, overnights, lugging ski gear and more! You can't go wrong with these!!

The crew at LL Bean could not have been better at correcting a spelling error made in my order for an embroidered large boat bag, no questions asked. They took the bag back, sending a new one within a few days. These folks know their business and stand behind their work. And, the bag? Five stars. It is definitely a standard for every sail bag there is.

I purchased this item as a gift for my wife. It is an attractive and very functional bag. It gets a great deal of use. My wife loves it, so that's good enough for me!

I have owned my medium Boat and Tote bag for at least 10-15 yrs, and it is still going strong w/no signs of wear and tear whatsoever. As a homeschooling mom, I have lugged 4 teacher's manuals + 4 student workbooks in it numerous times. I have packed it full of overflow from my suitcase on numerous trips out of state -- sometimes even w/10 or 16 lbs of hand weights in it. These bags are built to last. Although I have seen at least one review where the person thought the Boat and Totes should have *leather* handles to be sufficiently sturdy, I disagree -- they are as durable as they need to be "just" w/the canvas-&-fabric ones. In addition to the sturdiness of the bag, the color of both the handles (in my case, teal) and the monogram have not faded. Another feature I love about these bags is that the canvas is stiff enough that the bag stands on its own. I love this bag so much that, several years later, I bought a small one for my mother-in-law, and last month, I bought a large zip-top for myself. In my opinion, there is no higher quality tote bag.

I am thrilled with this purchase! It's high quality, and beautiful. I anxiously await trips to the Farmers' Market and the beach.

The bag was purchased for my daughter you likes the bag for grocery shopping and work. She likes the monogramming feature and quality/durability of the bag. I have even purchased the nylon bags for my other daughter for the same reason.

We bought our first large tote in 1992 when we lived in the Virgin Islands. We still have it and use it everyday (no kidding-we really do)for beach and pool tote as well as a carry-on for the plane when we go on a trip. The handles are a bit shabby but the rest is just fine for us. We are very attached to it as it brings back so many wonderful memories thru the years. It has been in many places all over the world. But, we finally decided to buy a new tote and love the new one too. We didn't have the heart to return our 1st one for a free replacement as we want to keep it forever. Today I put it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle for the first time. It came out very clean with all the stains removed. Anyway, we are going on a trip back to the VI soon and we will bring both our totes. We hope LL Bean isn't too upset that it is a bit worn and we use it everywhere and LL Bean may think it is a sight to see for others but when we get the chance we tell people we meet along the way our story and they love it and rave about the fact that 25 years later it still works and looks pretty good. It is a very Happy Tote and we are very Happy Customers with lots of great memories taking our tote to happy places. Thanks LL BEAN!

I have lived with LL Bean Boat Totes for years, and absolutely love them! This Christmas I purchased 6 more to give as gifts, to busy families going to the beach, cabin or ranch. They are sturdy and functional. And, after 5 days of festivities, each family had two new totes to carry the rest of the Christmas presents!

I ordered the large tote with the long handles. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Then the bag arrived it was much bigger than I thought it would be it almost looks like a carry-on piece of luggage. However I am really happy with it. The handles are the perfect length for it to be carried on the shoulder. I got it in the camo pattern and my son who doesn't like tote bags at all stole it on me and is using it to hold all of his home-school and reading materials. I will definitely be buying more of these totes in a variety of sizes.

I ordered this bag for my dog (super spoiled!) I needed something to put her food, snacks and toys in when she goes to grandmas. I had her name put on the side and it's super cute. The bag is sturdy and the red color is really pretty. I wanted it in pink, but they don't have pink as an option in this size. This bag would be good for all kinds of things, food, clothing, etc. I have an extra large version of this with my name monogrammed on it and I've had it almost 20 years. It looks just like it did when I got it. The monogramming has held up great and hasn't torn or started to fray. Great bag! Don't hesitate to order!

This was a gift for my daughter and she loved it. It is a durable bag that she plans to use for her new puppy. She carries a lot of items for her Corgi so this will come in handy. She is petite and needs help with a hyper puppy like a Corgi. This a great buy for the price at Christmas. This bag holds a lot of items which is great.

Have had the XL for years and love it so wanted to give a smaller size a try. Ordered the M and love it so much I just ordered another. Plan to eventually have one of each size. Would absolutely encourage friends to purchase. Super durable!

This long handled embroidered bag is our family favorite gift. We have given several of these in assorted colors and script fonts. They are extremely sturdy, washable, and very attractive.

This bag is perfect for many things: holding library books, collecting small bags of bulk food and spices at my favorite organic store, using as a carry-on for airline travel. The quality of the fabric and its construction is what I expect from LL Bean products.

I've bought so many of these bags over the years for me & as gifts. Even the little ones love having their name on the bag. My two youngest granddaughters have a complete set. The mini one is hard to find. I wish they would have them available on line. I've gotten some from store in Freeport.

I used the medium sized bag to haul stuff back and forth to the office... I love it.....perfect size and very sturdy!

I am very pleased with this tote. It is big and very well made. I had it monogrammed and gave it to my sister for Christmas. She loves it! Bought two for myself and had them both monogrammed which makes this tote stand out from any others. Highly recommend!
