Great trail running shoe, makes running feel more like mountain biking and that is what I was looking for. Great cushion but still an agile and snappy feel. The foot bed is so stable and secure feeling you can actually run and look at your phone if needed. It is surprisingly good on the pavement too. I have run in most of the competitors shoes and I greatly prefer the Caldera. I wish it was lighter weight but then again would not have the comfort. Might get the divide 3 also as more of my "road" shoe.

This is a super comfortable shoe. It has excellent grip. So far so good. Brooks never disappoints.

I've said it before and I'm certain I will say it again - another great shoe by brooks. I couldn't be more please with this shoe. Fit and performance on are 100% on point. My new trail shoe for sure! Thanks Brooks.

I am an older runner who still loves to get out on the trails. The Caldera have been a lifesaver for me - the aches and pains of trail time are all but gone with the cushioned support of the Caldera.

These are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. of course this is my opinion because some people like a more natural barefoot feel. but if you looking for a great cushion shoe that is supportive on your knees. this are the shoes to go with!!

Absolutely amazing comfort, unrivaled traction, and great styling (Rooibbos/Biscuit/Peacoat). I waited a really long time for the Catamount 2 release, during which I owned 5 sets of the 1st generation and loved them dearly. However, the 2nd generation just wasn't my cup of tea. Nonetheless, I decided to change things up and I'm glad I did. I would strongly recommend the Caldera 6 to anyone venturing off the path and also as a daily wearer. Thanks for the option Brooks!

These are the most comfortable sneakers on the market right now. I have bought all 4 colors and I'm ready to buy a few extra just so I have them.

Excellent foot support and stability. Cushioning is outstanding. I ended up buying two - one for daily wear and one for hiking.

The comfort and stability of this shoe is second to none! I wasn't sure anything could come close to the fit and comfort of the Glycerin, but Brooks proved me wrong! Wonderful shoe! Highly recommended!

Though a female, I usually prefer a mens athletic shoe asI feel there is more toe room in them so I chose the Caldera 6 in a mens size 7 equivalent to a womens size 8. The Calder6 is very cushy and comfortable on my daily trail walks averaging 3-4 miles/day. The back to front motion of my foot just is so smooth with each step but the shoe remains very stable. I really like this shoe

Soft cushion for my feet. I rally needed this after I injured my foot. They're like walking on clouds.

Good trail shoe. Was a little apprehensive about how chunky the sole was but love the ultra cushioning!

Nice running shoes for trail runners, good traction control and very light weight, only downside for me is they are little bit tight on my feet exactly where tarsal-metatarsal joints are, I'm not a D sized shoe person all my brooks running shoes are very good during my run

Great shoe for a neutral foot. It is wide and has ample room in the toe box. Great shoe for the price, will be buying future models for sure

I am a long time Cascadia fan but I wanted more cushion for longer outings. The Caldera's are excellent. I recently hiked a 27 mile loop in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and my feet stayed happy for the whole trip. I was initially concerned they would work well on technical mountain terrain but after using them all summer I have no concerns as long as you use some care on off chamber roots and rocks. If they added the Cascadia lacing system and forefoot room it would be and incredible shoe!

Comfortable throughout other than Toe box. I am a heavy runner at 235lb so perhaps that is the case. However, I loved my Caldera 5's with no issues. Wish I could buy more 5's.

Great shoe! Really comfortable! I've been running in the Caldera both road and trail last couple weeks. The only improvement I'd make is a little bit more space around the toes as I have a somewhat wide "toe-span." Otherwise, no complaints! Brooks overall has been my go-to for months now. Two 5ks and two 10ks in Brooks since October of last year; hopefully lots more (and longer distance runs) to come! --Zach

This would have been my favourite maximalist trail running/road running/hiking shoes but for the narrow fit. This is a shame because i truly love it- i have bought two pairs: amazing midsole- responsive, protective and cushioned. The material is extremely well made. The outsole is super sticky- i have hiked up and down mountains in these with superb traction. The 'Archille's heel' is the narrow last- my regular width foot gets squashed on both sides which is a shame. I am posting this in the hope that brooks will improve on this for version 7. There are big competitors out there- the Asics Trabuco Max 2 and the New Balance more trail v3 (i also have these). I would still like to rate the Caldera above these other beasts, provided they make it more roomy and wider toe box please

Surprisingly comfortable shoe for being a trail runner. It is well cushioned and it appears to grab the ground with each step. I've ran through mud and slick surfaces and so far I have yet to slip on those surface like I usually would. The inside of the shoe is also very took my and I have wide feet too. My only complaint is the bulkiness and the weight of the shoes. You can definitely tell it's heavier than a normal running shoe.

The only thing I dislike about the Caldera's is the shoe laces they come loose too easy. Other than that, incredible shoes!
