First Brooks shoe I've ever purchased. So comfortable I've purchased 2 more types of Brooks shoes within 3 months. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned . Superior comfort not found in other brands I've had in the past.

A great trail runner with the rigidity and stability that you need on uneven terrain.

Really good fit. True to size, soft yet responsive, good looking shoe, great traction for trail running. Stable base around the sole. Seems to be durable. Could be slightly wider in the toe box and it would be perfect. Still an excellent shoe. Actually I bought two different sizes simultaneously and kept the better fit. Affordable! Thanks brooks.

I was dubious at first because I really like the previous version (Caldera 5), but I think the 6s are even better. Fit is good, cushioning is very good. I am going back to get a second pair, so I can alternate wearing.

Overall a very good shoe, fit and finish is very nice and a roomy toe box, the more I wear the better they feel. In my experience they were ready to go right out of the box, I use for hard pack gravel trails and more challenging trails in our local parks

Slowly getting into jogging/running at 40. Been a water person so knees are not used to the pounding of my 225+ lbs. The Caldera 6 for me was a huge upgrade over my previous "running" shoes. While my knees do still hurt after a run, the pain is a lot less and not really noticeable while running. I am running mainly on a dirt/gravel trail with a little bit of uphill (maybe 20' per mile gained and lost since it is a loop). I definitely recommend these, though wish I went with a different color. I only have maybe 20 miles on them so far (run maybe a 5k per week and then walk another 10k). Hoping they last me quite a while!

I’m female w size 12 N in women’s. They fit me perfectly. This is my second pair! I get so many compliments on my shoes. They are so comfortable! When I go back to a store, people recognize me by my shoes! Great fun! I smile when I look at my shoes!

Got flat feet and plantar fasciitis, so I'm really particular about my shoe choices. Thes Calderas really do the trick. I put in prescription orthodics into them and tha t enhances an already great ride. The only improvement could be a goretex version.

Lightest trail running shoe I worn by far, I haven't did a long race in them yet, but do 5,6 mile runs often. The grip is top notch, almost tacky on pavement. I do prefer wide shoes. My first 2 runs there was tightness on sides but not much, the shoes broke in perfect after 10ish miles on that for my feet. Have well over 100+ miles on them, these might be the pair I buy again

Loved the fit and comfort I am tall guy 200lbs who trail runs a lot and this protected my feet and legs like never before. My legs feel better the next day. Great grip. My wife wants some now. Now I trail run more - thanks

What can I say I love this version of the Caldera - Caldera 6. Far and away the best iteration. I've had Hoka's, Altra -and they are great! But these are better.

These have allowed me as a beginning runner to put in 3 to 4 mile runs with my kids with minimal discomfort. The soles are incredibly soft it feels like running on soft rubber playground surface, or a gym mat - but in the woods. I also own the Cascadia 16 gtx which are also soft - but not even close to as soft as these. I plan to wear these out then switch back to my cascadia's for a little more off camber support and control. But again, for comfort I doubt you will find a shoe that beets these. There is a cost for that, the soles are soft, within the first 3 runs a stick went through the sole (see pic) - probably a freak thing that will never happen again - but could be considered a flaw.

This is great all around shoe for me. I wore Cascadias for years and then found the Caldera and it's my second pair this year. It can perform on trails but I primarily wear it out and about here in Colorado. Cushioning is max along with being very stable under foot. The site description is spot on.

This is a very stable shoe. The color options are not the best but I found one that is acceptable.

Sixty-six miles in, I already know these are some of the best shoes I've ever used. While I've been using them on gnarly desert trails, the reason I got them, I'm amazed by how versatile they are. No matter the terrain, whether pavement, sand, sharps, loose gravel, uphill, downhill, these make the transition adroitly. All you feel is grippy traction and firm, billowy footfalls. Amazing. For me, they fit perfectly, true to size.

My first run in the Caldera 6s was a trail half marathon race. Most would frown for someone running a race in untested shoes, but I had faith the Calderas wouldn't let me down and they outperformed my expectations. I felt the cushion and nitro-infused energy return with every step helping keep my legs feeling strong the whole race and wasn't even sore the next day. I did feel a bit of extra room as the run progressed, but I retying of my shoes would have solved that if I felt like stopping running! Fair to say the Calderas are my new go-to trail run shoe.
