I ordered these shoes because of my plantar fasciitis. My foot has complete support without the feeling of a chunky clunky shoe. I have also gotten several compliments. Im on my feet minimum 12-14 hours a day between my health care job and my delivery driver job and these shoes get me through the day.

Fit on these Glycerin GTS 20 was true to size and as advertised. Extremely satisfied with comfort, cushion and stability; even on occasional off-road trail hiking. Color, design and style were an added bonus. Mesh front provided excellent airflow and made hot weather walking much more comfortable. My feet sweat heavily and the ventilation was outstanding and added greatly to the comfort. I put probably 75% of my miles on road and 25% on trails/grass. Mostly walking, some hiking and very little running. My only complaint is the durability and after only 11 months at approx 20-25 miles per week I am having to replace them. Both toes (nearest big toes) are tearing open and tread on bottom toward front has worn flat / no or very little tread remaining.

These are the best running shoes Ive ever had. I went to a local store to try on different brands and kinds and these are what I went with. Since getting these, pain from running has diminished and I am feeling better than ever. They are so comfortable and supportive where you need it. I love my Brooks Glycerin 20s!

The Glycerin GTS 20 is light with very cushy sole. The side rails provide needed lateral support.

I love these. Im a woman with wide feet and recently found mens regular width shoes fit. I wear a 9.5 wide womens in running shoe and an 8 regular width in mens. These are very comfortable and supportive. Ive worn them for a few weeks now and have no complaints.

I don't like them nearly as much as I did the Glycerin GTS 21 that I was able to test for Brooks products - sorry to say I am a bit disappointed in them. They are not as comfortable or as flexible and easy to run in. I am 70 - run about 20 miles a week and my feet can hurt. The GTS 20 did not make me smile when I put them on and ran like the GTS 21 did.

It's probably the only one I'd choose out from all Brooks line of running shoes I've tried so far, except it's slightly too soft and plush for my taste & it's not good at lateral side-step movements. (It just needs a more responsive, denser, stiffer & firmer midsole compared to the Levitate GTS).

The very first day, I wasn't sure they were better than the Brooks walking shoe. From the very next day since, I believe they are even more comfortable for high intensity walking I do. My walks are 3.2 miles at an average of 4.30 mph so the great heel cushioning is a plus. Would buy again.

Great shoe with excellent cushioning. It might be a little heavy for extended runs, but I recommend it to my patients who are on their feet for many hours a day I need the additional cushioning shoe can also accommodate an orthotic as long as its not too bulky.

Very cushiony, which is the main reason I purchased, as I'm on a sight-seeing trip and I am doing a lot of walking. I also bought for breathability as that is always an issue for me. I own a pair of Brooks GTS 9s, which have the best breathability of any shoe I've ever owned. The breathability of the GTS 20 is good, but not as good as the GTS 9. For the next version of the GTS 20, if breathability could be improved, that would be great. It also be helpful if the level of breathability for all shoes could be listed in the description on the website. It would also be nice to be able to see a columnar comparison chart of the features of the shoes, which would expedite the time shopping. For example, Automobile websites allow for selection of 4 to 5 models to compare.

I have glycerin (for running) and glycerin GTS (used while refereeing soccer). There is a noticeable difference in the softness of the Glycerin model compared to the GTS, with the Glycerin having a much more cushiony ride and being softer on joints. The GTS has been a great shoe for refereeing - 10-15 miles a day - but has a different way of making your foot twist, leading to some calf tightness/cramping in new areas. It was a good purchase for me, and definitely much better on my legs than refereeing in cleats!

Ive been running in Glycerins since 2006. They have always been an incredible shoe for me (except for Glycerin 8; tie box fit different). But, this GTS version hurts my foot, and is very uncomfortable. I regret listening to the recommendation by Brooks on this one.

Looks good, very comfortable, it's so soft it's almost unstable. Next pair I'll look for a more stable/harder sole. Good shoe.
