I have had probably 5 glycerin shoes in the few years and have ordered the same size. I have 2 right now, size 9, that I trade back and forth. This new show, size 9, feels bigger and I decided I really didn't like the color either. So for those two reasons I want to exchange.

Love the cushion support. The Ghost was my go-to shoe for a long time but they recently updated the ghost 15 to a more narrow toe box. These are a great alternative and loving them so far.

Very comfortable; excellent fit for wide toe, narrow heel. Only issue is difficult to put on, need a shoe horn for older person.

If you have wide feet and still want something sturdy and comfortable, the Glycerin 20 is for you. Not all "wide" shoes are the same, but these definitely have plenty of room on the upper portion of the foot where I need it. I only wish they had more colors to choose from when you need a wide shoe.

Comfort is amazing! They are tending to run bigger than my other Brooks, but the shoe strings are driving me crazy they are flat and will not stay tied! This is the only big downside soon I'll be replacing the shoe strings.

I believe I like the 19 better. The foot pad on the 19 seems more durable.

Very comfortable!! My only complaint albeit very minor is this shoe is just a little harder to slip on. Great support and comfort though.

I like them but my foot slides around in the shoe.

I love the feel of these on my feet when I am just standing. Heel is too wide and my heel slips up and down when walking.

I feel like these run a little short and wide. I have a narrow, high arch foot. I like the laces on this model, last years laces were not great. Beautiful look and foot bed has great support.

Heel and lower portion of the shoe seems larger, size seems to run larger then past models, cushioning is different in a not so positive way. Considering trying a different model or brand next time.

I do love this shoe, but wished I would've stayed with the Ghost (I buy two pair a year and have for several years). I took a chance on the Glycerin for the extra cushion, but still need the compact support of the Ghost. I do high impact workouts and the Glycerin for me personally, is better for walking. I did just order a pair for my husband and he loves them! Next time I will stick with the Ghosts and I 10/10 recommend them!

Good fit. Only complaint is that the. glycerin 20 label is already falling off the shoes making them look more worn than they should; unneeded labeling.

I have been buying Glycerin size 9.5. I knew this pair was too big the moment I put them on. I will have to try size 9.

Great support and comfortable however a piece of the shoe on back is already coming off after a very short period. Get rid of it or make it a sticker type thing so it doesn't peel off. Otherwise the actual shoe is great. But if I pay this much money I expect all aspects to remain intact for a longer duration.

So I’ve had two pairs of the glycerin-19 and I loved them. These are fine, but I don’t know why they have to change them. The toe box is really wide and the heal is lower than the 19. They slip a little on my heal. Over all they’re gonna work, but I preferred the 19. The colors aren’t as good either, and they seem to be made of cheaper material. I wear a size 5 and these are plenty big everywhere.

I ordered the Glycerin 20 because I love my Glycerin 19. The 20 does not have the same feel as far as cushioning is concerned and the toe box is quite a bit more narrow. I immediately loved the 19 because the cushion was wonderful and I did not have to break them in. The 20 feels too solid. I am hoping they will break in a bit as I wear them.

1. Very comfortable shoe with cushioned support, without being spongy.
2. I have been looking for a shoes to wear with my sort of thin orthotics for over two, yes two, years. These are great but I think they run true to size. I ordered 1/2 size up but am returning for my normal size. Even with the insert, these were roomy.
3. I LOVE the stable sole and wider toebox!
Hooray!!!!!
4. The tongue should be wider. I hate the oddly shaped tongue that doesn’t protect your foot . If the 10.5 size works, praying it does, I will consider taking them to a shoe repair place and have additional material added to the sides of the tongue. The tongue shape is why I gave it four stars in one category.
4. Bottom line… I have painful, problem, hard to fit feet and these were comfy. ?
That the 10.5 will fit well enough.
Give them a try but maybe stick to your normal sneaker size if you have thinner, low volume feet.

Initially, I ordered the Glycerin 20 in the same size as my prio Glycerin 19s, but the 20s -- in the same size as the 19s -- were too big. I exchanged the shoes for a half-size smaller and the fit is much better. As usual, the Glycerin provides high cushion comfort during my walks. Brooks changed the material used in the laces and they don't stay tied without double knotting. Also, I love the aesthetics of the peacoat/ocean/lilac version; however, the lilac laces show dirt quite easily. I would have appreciated a darker lace with the dark sneaker.

These are narrow but they are too wide through the toe area. They are a pretty color and lightweight.

Wow I own an older pair of Glycerins and they're fine...just worn out. These ones are a lot wider and a lot less structured, particularly in the toe box. Pretty flimsy there. Disappointed

The shoe did not offer the cushioning on impact as expected. Going back to my Ghost. Still love Brooks!!

They seem a bit rougher than the last Glycerin 20's I had. The last pair I had were the Nitrogen infused Glycerin 20s which I really liked.

Toe box was wider than the 19. Ordered same size as my 19s and the 20 was too big. They also felt way thinner or something in construction. Just wasn't for me. Returned them.

I have two pairs of these shoes. The 1st pair (blue) I absolutely love! They beyond comfortable and have eliminated my foot pain completely! The sole feels like I am walking on cushions.
The 2nd pair (black and white) are not as comfortable. I feel like I am walking on concrete. Doesn't feel like there is hardly any cusioning. If I had the box, I would return them.
Will still buy Brooks shoes though!
