I am not new to brooks, I wear the glycerin 21s to work and a pair for running. I bought the 20s because I love the look of them. They are comfortable but the toe box is narrow and after a few runs in the I developed an ingrown great toenail, so I will no longer be able to use them.

This is my third pair of Glycerin 20s and the first purchase directly from Brooks. I absolutely loved the first two pairs -- very short break-in, superb comfort, just an all around great shoe. I am disappointed that this pair does not feel as comfortable and has not worn as well as my two previous pairs. From the moment I put them on, something felt off, which I chalked up to needing a break in. I'm well past that point, and they are still off. I wore them the other day and noticed some toe soreness that happens only when my shoes start breaking down -- way too early for that. I have put them into my rotation but gravitate to the older, more comfortable pairs. I would buy them again but would return if I had the same experience I've had with this pair.

Ive owned and run in Glycerin 17, 18 and 20. I just bought my second pair of 20s. I didnt care for the 19 version but the others have been good. 17 and 18 were faster than the 20s. I like the 20s for long easy training days or any days when I need extra cushion. Love the cushion of the 20s but do wish the wide base was a bit less. Also the forefoot of the 20s is wider which generally I like but it is a bit wider than I like making it harder to get locked in. Great with heavy socks during winter training! It is not my fastest shoe due to the heavier weight and lack of lock in but definitely helps me increase training miles while I get ready for half marathon races!

Love them! Light, easy to land on the forefoot, enough cushioning. And the color is good. Most of the time my running shoes are not the prettiest. We all know thats not important and should not influence our choices, but it is nice to look down and like what you see.
I wear them with the Currex insoles.

I switched to the Glycerin 20 when the new Ghost 15 got narrow in the toes. The Glycerin does not squeeze my toes and has nice cushioning. I tried 4 other different shoes and the Glycerin 20 was the most comfortable. My feet dont hurt after a long, fast walk.

I wanted to love my new Glycerin 20, but alas, I was disappointed. I wanted to give them a try for the additional cushioning. They are so cushy that my foot is pushed forward in the shoe, cramping my toes. I also found the additional cushioning surprisingly uncomfortable on the ball of my foot and it negated the arch support. I am a power walker. Perhaps this shoe is better for a runner. Im still debating if I should take advantage of your return policy and purchase another pair from your Ghost line. Not as cushy, but I have gone through several pairs of Ghost and have been completely satisfied.

Best shoe for my foot! I learned a long time ago not every foot is the same. I changed job duties 8 months ago, from walking constantly to standing for extended lengths of time. Before my feet got tired, but standing made my back, hips, and feet hurt. So of coarse I checked all the big name brands, did all the research and went to a shoe store with what I learned. I took the ONLINE FIND THE PERFECT SHOE test on the BROOKS site. I tried the first recommended Glycerin 20 and whoa!!! Immediately I felt the pressure on my feet disperse. Needless to say they came home with me and Ive worn them almost everyday for 8 months. As a frugal shopper Ive spend my shoe allowance for the next 2 years, but when I say it was worth it, I mean it. Ill be back Brooks!

Comfortable when tried on in store but once home and walking more realized not the one for me. Very low shoe top around ankle area, narrow toe area. Wish I had gone with a different style but this one was recommended by the salesperson.

First off I love Brooks Glycerin they are the only shoes I will ever buy. However this last pair I couldnt figure out why they were so uncomfortable, turns out the insoles were for the same foot. Luckily I have custom shoe inserts that I put in my shoes. Overall love the shoe, poor quality control.

Im more of a walker than runner but the shoes fit well. I like the firm support feel when wearing them. I actually prefer them to the Ariel shoes that I have. The heal area is sturdier than on my Ariels.
My husband has a pair of mens Glycerin 20 that he likes too. He has a high arch and needs shoes that will support his feet.

They are extremely comfortable. However, Im realizing I shouldve got a wide for a bigger toe box. I wish I wouldve. Aside from that, I love them.

I have been wearing Brooks sneakers for several years. I have always purchased the Ghost sneakers. This time, I purchased the Glycerin and I am sorry to say, the Ghost were more comfortable.

I have worn the Glycerine for 6 years straight. I wear custom orthotics and even with those many other sneakers I find hurt the bottom of my feet after only a month or 2. I get a new pair every 6 months (I wear sneakers all ady every day, wake up til bedtime) of the newest model of Glycerine and my feet never hurt anymore!

I bought a pair of the Glycerin 20 at the local store and couldnt be more disappointed! They feel comfortable for walking, but if you are planning on running be prepared to deal with the pain! After the first two runs my ankles and feet started to hurt, and it only gets worse. My last run ended with me limping back to the car in tears. I have a race in a week and Ill be skipping it, thanks to the Glycerin 20. Do yourself a favor and dont buy these shoes.

These Glycerin 20s are very comfortable. I was skeptical at first after reading the reviews, but so far, they feel great after 10 or 12 hour shifts.

I like them. I don't run and I don't purchase tennis shoes very often so I only have them for my Achilles Heel
