Perfect! The Glycerin 20 has a wide sole and that works great to help my balance and give me secure footing. My heels are well-seated in the shoes and that gives me confidence. I have had both knees totally replaced since late 2020 and have had serious issues with my balance because my new knees are straight, resulting in a different gait than I was formerly accustomed to. I put my new Glycerin 20's on right out of the box and I'm still wearing them as I write this review. I wear orthotics in my left shoe due to leg length discrepancy and the shoes easily accommodate my orthotics for that issueplus, I suffer from over-supination (walking on outside of heels) and the Glycerin 20 seats my heels deep enough to overcome the over-supination. I wear narrow shoes and ordered these half a size smaller because of the wide toe box and that works well. My left shoe (with the leg-length orthotics) fits perfectly. The right shoe is a bit snug, but it's doable. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and feel I've finally found a shoe that helps solve my problems. Sorry for the lengthy review but I wanted to address my issues in case it might be helpful to others having similar issues.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. The sole protects my 58 year old hips and knees. Thank you for making a shoe that allows me to remain active as I age. The cushion sole absorbs the shock of running on my knees and hip, and I imagine that same cushion sole causes me to expend more energy, but worth it since those cushion soles allow me to continue running for 6 miles plus.

Great shoe! My only complaint is the shoelaces. They come untied way too easily.

These shoes are SUPER COMFORTABLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MUCH CUSHION! My feet are SO HAPPY! I can actually feel the cushion as I walk. When I put them on for a walk or to run errands, I mostly keep them on until bedtime.

Very very comfortable, supportive shoe. I feel like my feet are being hugged. Definitely a future purchase in more colors.

Fantastic protection if you have or are getting plantar fasciitis! This shoe's extra padding in the heel area provides a pain free, soft comfort and support! I just returned from Paris and walked about 15 miles a day for 4 days, morning and night without needing to even take off my shoes, until I went to sleep. VERY happy with them! I have many pairs of Brooks and feel this one is absolutely perfect for my many foot issues. I will get another pair and choose this model again!

Comfortable. I am able to feel a difference in my back for the better by wearing these.

I am not a tennis shoe person, but this is my second pair of the Glycerin 20's. They so comfortable and my feet do not hurt. My first pair were the black & teal. My new pair are the lilac color, which I just love.

Love these shoes!! Comfortable to walk long distances and I wear them all day and my feet feel great.

So far so good have not walked around in them yet, but straight out of the box they felt comfortable

I've had my glycerin 20 for almost a year now, and they are still in great condition. My Altra olympus 4 only lasted 6 months. I bought my daughter a pair of glycerin 20 also, and she loves them.

I do not run. I have plantar fasciitis and I am a nurse so I needed some cushion and comfort. These shoes provided both. Love them, so comfortable.

I couldn't be happier with this shoe. I loved the 19s but the 20s are next level. Comfort, fit, cushionit has it all. Brooks knocked it out of the park with these!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I have four pair now. I am not a runner but I wore them all day every day for 16 days while I was on a land/river tour in Europe. We did A LOT of walking and my feet did not hurt at all! I have issues with plantar fasciitis and it didn't bother me on this trip.

So comfortable! This is my 3rd pair of glycerins and the 20 has definitely improved on its cushion! The toe box is also much roomier and the show is now true to size (previously had to size up). I've had the 18, 19, then tried hoka (not impressed) and now back to Brooks glycerin forever! I wear these to work as a nurse and get so many compliments on how cute they are with the fun bright colors!

Have worn Ghosts for years, and still love them, but decided to try Glycerin 20 because I liked the color. It felt a little roomier and added cushion , which felt great with my planter fasciitis. I know that I will enjoy this member of the Brooks family too.
