I was getting very frustrated with Brooks because over the last few purchases, my feet really started hurting and having problems. I spent some time researching and realized it was the guiderails that was the problem. By getting the Glycerin 20 which does not have the guiderails, I am back onboard 100%. I am just one of those people who can't handle the guiderails. It took a lot of research to figure that out but, finally a solution.

I have very wide feet along with bunions. I did not have to order these in a wide and did not even size up. They offer great heel cushion and feel great right out of the box.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka

Very Comfortable. A little slippage in the heel. Very cushy. I like them!

I do not run. Have had lots of surgery for stress fix in both feet. Glycerin is the shoe for me. I do not run I use it for my walks. Great support and they feel good for my feet. The height from the heel to the toe is just right for me. I have worn the ghost glycerin is much better for me. Thank you brooks..

These shoes really fit well and feel as though they give good support. The comfort of these is PRIMO for 12+ hour shifts!

The Brooks Glycerin seem to change from year to year; this time I immediately adapted to the new 20 model and have worn for vigorous walks for almost a year. Good combo of support and cushioning.

Absolutely the best cushion for a heel hitting the pavement! Very comfortable to wear all day.

Shoe has good support and a nice "rebound" effect when pushing off. Shoe was a little tight at first but then did stretch a little after 2 wears. The only complaint is this shoe is not good in rain or for running/walking on paths that are wet or with puddles. I wish someone would make a shoe that is not completely mesh especially around the toe box area. But if you are looking for good support and cushion, this is it.

My husbands trainer recommended these as the best shoe for over 60 year olds.
They are the most padded.

I have worn various Brooks shoes in recent years, searching for a replacement for the Ghost 10's that I loved. I'm not a runner, but I need a good shoe to alleviate foot issues. I believe the Glycerin 20 is the Brooks shoe that best fits my needs at this time. I usually size up for Brooks shoes, ordering a 9 rather than an 8.5. Since I need a wide toe box to alleviate a neuroma, I have often ordered wide widths in other Brooks shoes (Ghost, Dyad, Addiction), but the medium width in the Glycerin 20 seems to fit me well. The cushioning in the Glycerin 20 is superb - no more end of day foot pain. This is my new favorite Brooks shoe!

I haven't worn Brooks in many years. It's like returning to an old stable consistent friend. I have a chronic ankle problem & acute on chronic knee injury. I wore these all through Europe with no ankle pain & no knee pain wearing a brace. Super stable & lightweight. Also very roomy toebox to accommodate my bunions. I will buy these again & again.

I have always worn Ghost. I wanted to try something with a bit more cushion and wider base. I wore these to walk all over Savannah and my feet felt great!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! They have been the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I wear these to work (12-hour shifts) and my feet are NEVER sore at the end of the day! I also wear them to the gym where I weight-lift and they provide the perfect stability/comfort. They are also made really well and have lasted me at least 2 years now at this point.

The squish and comfort I have found in while! Feel in love with Glycerins several years ago, but never was satisfied with them after that. Actually went to Hoka. I order Hoka Bondi 8 and returned them (very uncomfortable) and went with Glycerin 20s…love them!

An upgrade from the previous version, more push off energy and cushioning! If you’re a distance runner or new to running, these may feel “heavy” after a few miles. I run only a few miles a week—so, this has not been an issue for me. Of note, I was a 6.5 in the Glycerin 19, but went down to a 6 in the Glycerin 20. Both are great shoes, but the Glycerin 20 has waaaaayyy more cushioning!
