Shoes were really cute and would have fit a normal foot. I have an orthotic device on my left foot, and the shoe rubbed against my bunion and hurt like a son of a gun.

Too long and too narrow in toes.

I have painful arthritis in my big toe, and it is tough to fit into a dress shoe. I bought these because of the elastic band, hoping that would help. Unfortunately, there is little to no stretch in this band. I’m not sure why they say it is elastic.

They are quite heavy. The heel was much too wide.Front part of the shoe fit just fine.

Started off very comfortable. The heel is very stiff. Only have worn one day - couldn’t wear after lunch. Both feet had blisters

Only wore them once. Beautiful shoes. I reordered them a half size smaller. May even have to go a full size shorter. I'll see when they arrive. Too bad one wearing makes them non-returnable.

The shoes were very cute, seemed to be very nicely made and looked as though it would be comfortable; however, we could not even get it on my grandmother's foot (it was too small) and she has been a 7.5N all her life ... she's 96!

I have a narrow foot. The size was good, but they were too wide and would not stay on my foot. Very disappointed they did not work out.

I had ordered the 8.5 WW and I walked right out of this shoe. The blue suede is gorgeous. I wish it had fit. sending back.

heel too narrow for my foot

Uneven fit between left and right foot. I normally buy 8.5 W or 9. I bought 9W in this one because I sensed that 8.5W wont work. I tried these on and the right shoe kept coming off at the heel as I walked. The right one was perfect! Will have to return it!

Didn't like the style - square toes!

I can normally wear an 11 medium but this was way too tight and not long enough.

I ordered my normal size, but they were too large. I exchanged them for a half size smaller, but they fit even BIGGER than the larger size. They're cute shoes, but the size is way off!

my heel slipped up and down

These shoes were long enough, but they were too narrow in the widest part of the toe box. First time trying them on, they were squeezing my foot (and I don't have a weird foot or bunions or anything.) I briefly thought, "Well, maybe they'll stretch out," and then I thought, for the money, I don't want to have to make accommodations. Unfortunately, of my whole order, this pair was the reason I went shopping in the first place. Back they go, and back to the drawing board I go - for black patent leather flats. It shouldn't be this difficult...

I ordered a wide. They were too wide. And, even though they were too wide, they hurt my left foot. The style is cute, I wish they fit. But did not fit and even hurt my foot!

The heels were a little big and my feet could not stay in the shoe.

Again - as with the aerosoles, these shoes were much wider than the Trotters I bought 2 years ago. Does everyone have fat feet these days? Had to return because I couldn't keep them on my feet while walking.

They are a bit loose so I feel like my feet are swimming in them just enough to be annoying but not enough to use an insert.

The toes of the shoes are SQUARISH!! I prefer a rounded toe-I could see the possibility of stumbling with the square toe look! Am sending the shoes back.

Too narrow, painful on my heel

I love the Trotters brand, and have never had an issue with them, until this pair. I have hard-to-fit narrow feet, usually because the shoes are not narrow enough. This pair, however was SO NARROW, that I could not even get my foot into them. Yes, I chose "Felt true to size", as they appeared long enough, but, way too tight width wise. Even the top of the shoe that goes over the toes was extremely tight. Rats! They are very pretty, but not for me.

These shoes were so cute that I wanted them to fit, but when I replaced the removable footbed with my orthotics, they were too tight, mostly in the height.

I wear 8 or 8 1/2 and the 8 1/2 did not fit well in some spots. The band rubbed the top of my foot and I ended up with a blister on my heel - both unusual for me with an 8 1/2, so I returned the item. They did seem very supportive and would have otherwise been comfortable. Note that the accents are iridescent, which I didn't expect. It made them appear cheaper and/or an older style.
