This is a beautiful, rich looking shoe. It's a classic Italian look and I love the looks of it. After several wearings though my bunion has started throbbing and I don't think I will get the wear out of them that I had hoped.

I thought the shoe was good looking. I bought the shoe based on a review that they didn't need to be broken in. I got them wore them as a test before going on a vacation and within an hour I had blisters. I'm not saying they are not good shoes just that they are not perfect right out of the box. The fit was fine in length but narrow through from ball of foot forward.

Great work show. Comfortable. Works well with tailored slacks and suits. Good go to shoe for professional look.

5 stars for a sharp tailored professional look that is great with menswear; 4 stars for substandard quality control: Had to order 2 pair of the same size shoe to get a pair that fit. First pair (labeled 8M) pulled tight across the top on the right shoe, and the left shoe fell off my heel when walking (too big). Ordered another pair in the same size and the left shoe fits fine, but now the right shoe slips off the heel. I kept this pair and padded the heel with Foot Petals, but be forewarned. If you like this shoe (and it is a great price for a tailored shoe that appears to be holding up well), be prepared to order more than one pair to find a reasonable fit.

Love this shoe. Have it in three colors. I have extra wide feet and this shoe looks very nice without looking "extra wide." Comfortable.

I love this shoe BUT Trotters has a serious quality control issue in sizing. I own and wear a very comfortable 9.5WW Brown. I reordered same as I wore the other out from daily wear. Same size was now a 1/2 inch too long AND too wide. Sent back. Ordered 9.5 W in black and in brown. Black fit like a glove and brown was too narrow and a smidge too short. So now will send back brown and keep black. None in middle of 9.5 W and 9.5 WW so I'm out of luck on brown until.... next month? Reorder same and hope they send me different brown shoe and not the one I just ordered. I do love this shoe over all others so will have to persevere!

Use to wear this shoe some years ago and then the leather came in very tough. This is back to the original softer leather. One has to wear this shoe for awhile for it to conform to the foot. It is a nice shoe

These are so dark navy, they look black. I put them next to my black shoes and even in sunlight, you can't tell the difference in color.

I have always worn a 10 but due to an injury most 10s are short for my right foot. When I move up to 10.5 the width seems to be a problem - too wide. Finally found these Trotters that fit perfectly in a 10.5. Going back for other colors.

I love these shoes. Very comfortable! Only complaint is that the woven part of the shoe makes little squeaky noises when it bends, but that doesn't stop me from loving them!

I have owned 5 pairs of these over the past 4 years - they are an economic alternative to Cole-Haan flats. There is some variability to the fit when the size is 11N (the ecru flats are simply too narrow), but overall they are good for professional wear.

Lovely shoe, soft weave. Ordered wide but found shoe to be very narrow (as narrow as my usual size 11B). This shoe would probably break in very well for most feet. I am going to try the extra wide, then decide. Fairly cushy sole for this type of shoe. Very little arch support.

The width is accurate but the heel is large and does not hug the foot well-otherwise the shoe is good looking and comfortable.

We gals with wide feet should love this shoe. Nice quality and classic style. It was a half size too large though.

I just ordered the wrong size, having searched for my former brands that were all leather uppers and sole with steel shanks. When I found this and read the reviews I had to try them. The selection I ordered is too short; hence, maybe too narrow, but glory it felt like a dream on my feet. Remembering what a foot specialist once told me, I'm trying to find a larger size, but the selection is limited here; I've put in for an alert if they come in. I'll buy many pair of this shoe. It's attractive, leather (which means it will take good shining), comfortable, and classic. If they only made a sling-back patent, I'd be in hog-heaven. My grading was only due to having the wrong size; hoping I can re-order something fast.

Nice shoe, comfortable right from the start and well made. I liked the look over just a plain leather shoe.

These shoes are comfortable if you know how to walk in them correctly. At first I put too much weight on the balls of my feet, which got me corn. Now I put weight pretty evenly all throughout my feet and they work just fine. I think the problem was that the soles are somewhat thin and hard, even though the insoles are soft. Overall these are good shoes for my business casual work environment. I would probably buy them again at a lower price.

These shoes are comfortable and a bit stylish. They work well with pants for work.

Comfortable and stylish; these are great to have shoes. They run a little large, but I am very happy to have these shoes. They are practical and good looking shoes for the office or jeans. They appear to be wearing very well. I am happy with this purchase.
