When I first got these shoes and tried them on, they felt too tight. I exchanged them for the next size, and could hardly believe that they were way too big! So I wore the original pair around the house for a few days, and after breaking them in, they are now incredibly comfortable. Bottom line: leather shoes will stretch a bit, so take that into consideration. Now these are my go-to shoes.

Soft & Comfortable. I really like these shoes. I bought both a 7 and a 7.5. The 7.5 fit me better, BUT the color was off. It was faded and more monochrome than the 7. Weird. So I think I'll return both of them; the color on the ones that fit me best just is not right.

It's a nice looking shoe but within moments of walking out of the house the heel began rubbing the back of my heel. I had to put one of those gel heel cushions in one shoe.

Ordered 11w. Seemed true to size. Because the upper is mostly woven leather, and only the toe box and heel area is lined, the shoe breathes and becomes flexible, and shows wear faster than a solid upper. This is typical of woven leather. Will order again.

I bought these in navy and my mother in law liked them so much I ordered them in brown for her Christmas gift. These are very comfortable shoes. The leather is soft and they do tend to stretch so I just added a pad at the toe and they are fine.

Comfortable right from the first and fit well. I like the super dark navy, looks great with jeans. Only issue is that when I wore them for about 6 hours with a bit of walking in dry weather the color bled on my toes even through heavy tights leaving dark blue stains on my big toes, very difficult to get out.

Size ordered was too large. Leather felt stiff on wearing. Look very beautiful. The heel height is just right. May reorder in smaller size in the future if could not find softer shoes.

These shoes are adorable but I'm sending them back. The soles are EXTREMELY slippery! I'm an expert skier who also ice dances, rides bikes and walks a lot. (In other words, I have good balance). I took six steps on carpet and nearly fell on my kiester. I'll take ice skates over these shoes!

These shoes are very attractive, but do run about 1 full size too large. The weave pattern is beautiful. Just enough detail for a flat.

Great looking shoe that I'm hoping stretch out a bit as I walk around in it because I do *not* want to return it! It feels much more narrow than a medium, but that's okay with me because I have a narrow heel with a thin foot. Would probably would feel way too tight for someone with a true 8.5 medium shoe size.

I have many pairs of Liz Trotters. The white pair was surprisingly tight. They usually slide on perfectly. No wear-in/stretch-out time required. Not so with the white. I did a side by side comparison of the uppers and they are measurably smaller! Had to return them. Life's too short to wear painful shoes. Never had a problem with brown, gold, black, dark red, or multi.

Nice looking loafer like shoes. I have narrow feet and the "narrow" width was still too wide. New innersoles helped keep them on my feet.

I have owned this pair of shoes for 7 months. They are very comfortable, but I am disappointed with the quality. I have already had to have the heel re-soled, and now the individual strips of leather are separating from their backing as well as the joint between sole and upper around the toes. They are losing their shape, and now feel like they're going to fall off my feet while I am walking. To be fair, I live in NYC, and walk a lot, but I expected these shoes to last much longer.
