My sons needs to wear AFOs and these shoes were recommended. I am sad to say that if you wear AFOs these will not work for you. They are too narrow in the toe. He wears a size 3 without AFOs so I ordered a size 5w and 6w. He couldn’t get his foot in the 5, and the 6 were so tight around his toes that he couldn’t walk. Really great thought for kids with special needs but needs a redesign to be truly AFO friendly.

My child really like these because even with his SMO's he can wear athletic shoes just like the other children.

I just love these zipper shoes. They are so easy to put on and take off !

Have drop foot. Had brace made, and with the zipper on the shoe, makes it easy for the brace to fit. Great quality of shoes.

These shoes are fantastic! This is our extra pair for when she grows out of the current pair. Quality is great for the zipper and material of the shoe. My daughter can get them on and off independently. She wears them for crossfit and playing. Never had a problem with blisters or rubbing her toes or foot. They fit true to size for her . Overall a great shoe

Wish you would make shoes like this with a white sole because that is what is required for gym shoes at school. Still love our Billy Shoes!

The zipper that runs along the front of the toe area is perfect for my particular kid's AFOs :) They work like a dream! Some of the other styles don't work for his shoes (as well as these). But Billy customer service is on top of it whenever there's an issue! So cool :)

My son wears SMO orthotics and a wide Billy shoe is a requirement for him (NO other shoe/brand/model fits). These shoes are partially weather proof (not canvas), cooler (not as high up the ankle) and fashionable. THANK YOU BILLY for another "wide" shoe option.

I have fallen in love with these shoes. This is my 3rd pair that I have bought for my daughter. My next purchase will be a pair of sandals.

Finding shoes that fit over my daughter's AFOs is a nightmare. I love these so much! They are cute, comfortable, and sooooo easy to put on. I will never buy her shoes from anywhere else again :heart:
