I had to return these- my son wears AFOs and we've worn Billys canvas high and low tops in the past. I was excited to see this style and the new wide size option because I assumed they would fit over AFOs even better. But total opposite - I could barely get the AFO in there, and it was nowhere close to zipping. Disappointing.

I bought these to fit over my son's AFOs and they didn't even come close to zipping closed despite these being "W". We've been able to wear the regular canvas Billys over his AFOs in the past (it's tight, but I can usually get them zipped up), so with this style and the wide option I was hoping these would fit great, but they are really narrow, even when you pull the insole out.

I bought these because I thought they were AFO friendly. They are not AFO friendly.

My son has AFO and we so wanted BILLY to be the answer. The shoes will not zip up once he puts his foot inside. Very disappointed.
