These are great snow boots for my son who wears an AFO on his left foot. I originally ordered the same sizing as I would for the normal Billy sneakers, but they were way to small and we couldn't get the braced foot into the boot (with the brace). The zipper is a bit smaller than on the sneaker, so I assume that's part of the problem. I wound up re-ordering 2 sizes larger (for both feet) and they are perfect, even on the normal sized foot. These have been a life saver so far this winter.

They fit very small. Size up even more than the chart says. The first set I bought were a size larger than the chart said should fit. (Based on the Billy shoes we were already using). But the next ones I ordered fit great! I'm excited for real winter boots that fit over kid's AFO's for our Canadian Winter. (for reference. Big kid size 5 should have fit, but we got size 7's to fit).

Great shoes, just weren't able to fit my sons AFO's into them.

These winter boots are amazing, love the style and warmth of the boot. They are not ideal for a toddler who is wearing AFO braces , to narrow and not wide enough. Hopefully in the future you can offer a wide selection. Because these boots are pretty RAD. I did think these would have been wider for regular size toddlers.

Great fit for my daughters non hinged AFOs. She is able to put on and remove on own. Went for a 40 minute walk in minus 30 weather and only at the very end did she say her feet were a little cold, which is a miracle for her!

Buy a size up or two. These are short wrap so they are very snug at the top of the foot

Very well made.Only complaint is there is a gap between the upper (light gray material) part and my ankle/lower leg. I can tighten it somewhat with the laces, but it would be better if the tongue were not connected on the sides so they could be made more snug for walking.

We had hoped that these boots would fit over our son's DAFO's but they are far too narrow to accommodate them. They are beautiful boots and extremely well made but just didn't suit our purpose. I wish Billy would make a wider width boot to help all kids who wear orthotic devices. We truly need a warm alternative that is wide enough to fit and keep them warm.

I ordered these boots in the same size Billy shoes my kiddo wears and the sizing was quite different. I couldn't even almost jam his foot in- needed to go two full sizes up. Whole that was a bummer, customer service was GREAT. I was happy with the outcome that this small company was able to provide.

Tight fit with AFO's and braces . Order up if needed. They are warm. Winter appropriate. Difficult to get into independently.

I absolutely love that you created snow boots to make life easier but, I am sad they didn't work for my daughter because they weren't wide enough to fit her afo's in.

So not fit AFOs. The toe is too tight even with upsize x2

Boots looked cute, bought as final sale in same size my daughter currently wears other Billy's with her braces and I could not come anywhere close to getting on her feet. They run very small.

I was excited to see these on sale. that quickly changed. I should have gotten a size up and or not bothered! They DONT work with a AFO! If. you get the afo in it cant be on the child!! Well how do you expect them to wear with the afo? I put her old one in to hope to break it in but the design sucks. my daughter cant stand them.

Loved the boots, but they would not fit over my grandchilds braces. They were to high in the front and we could not get her foot and brace down in the boot.
