These boots are great for my son with special needs but also work great for any kid since they zip all the way on. Excellent quality and very warm. A must buy.

I got these for my 7year old grandson for Christmas. They fit him perfectly. He had the opportunity to put them to use a few days later and they kept his feet and lower legs toasty warm.

We love these boots! My 2.5 year old has transition AFOs with SMO inserts, so a lot of orthotics-friendly footwear won't fit over the extra thickness of her double ankle straps and fasteners. These boots are perfect! The laces make them adjustable to fit around the brace snugly so they don't slip off or wobble when she moves in them, and that's so important right now while she's leaning to walk and balance. We were able to get a size close to her actual foot size so these aren't huge and cumbersome. The zipper makes it so easy to get them on and off, and I love that they are warm and keep the moisture out. I searched the internet last year but really couldn't find a good winter boot option that would work for our needs. We are so happy to have found these boots!

I'm not a reviewer by nature. I love reading them, but always get hung up on what to say. The moment I saw these actually fit my child's feet and zip up I couldn't wait to review. My son wears DAFOs and I have been struggling to find boots for wet/snowy weather. Billy's rain boots? Nope. These guys though? Take the insole out and these guys fit like a glove. I cannot recommend them enough. No sizing or fit issues - everything is as it should be. Thank you Billys for making cold and wet weather more accessible to those with orthopedic disabilities!

These boots are awesome, my toddler Daughter loves them! She has an AFO and they slip right into her boots with no problem, they are warm and Well made.

Hey Billy your winter ice boots are awesome. I searched the internet for months and made a couple of failed purchases trying to find winter boots to accommodate my daughters AFO brace. I was getting pretty disheartened. Then I found your winter ice boots. We live in michigan so boots for kids are essential. We just had our first good snow and we went sledding. Thank you so much for providing the gear to make that possible for my daughter.

The new winter boots are great! My grandson can now go out and play in the snow without all the struggles getting his boots on! Thanks Billy!

So happy to have snow boots that fit over his AFO. They look cool, fit well, and he likes his super cool big boy boots. I would love to be able to contribute to a fund that helps financially families who may have trouble affording this product. It is a medical necessity. Insurance should cover these life changing shoes.

These snow boots are the best. They keep my son's feet warm. It has been really cold lately and I am so glad I have these boots.

I bought three different pairs of boots before finally finding these. For the first time, my kiddo can play in the snow with no fear that his AFO's will get wet and it didn't take us long to put them on. We were able to go out in the snow and just play in the snow, make snow angels and try to make a snow man. I am so glad we found these. The color was a bonus.

I have been buying Billy Footwear since I saw Billy speak at a Boys Scout Fundraiser several years ago. My grandson is in a wheelchair and finding shoes to fit had been very difficult. I love how easy these are to put on, how current you keep your styles and how quickly they are delivered ( even in the age of COVID). We were headed to Leavenworth, Washington with our whole family and finding boots for Chris, our grandson, wasn't easy. Two weeks before we were scheduled to leave, I got an email with the new winter boot line. They are great. Our grandson had a blast sledding and his feet stayed nice and warm and stylish! Recently snagged a pair of these boots for my son who wears AFO's. they are amazing. He recently sized out of sorels and these will be our go to boots for winter

We've been a fan of Billy footwear for awhile. They have allowed my daughter to have independence with putting her shoes on. We are thrilled to finally have this option with snow boots as well!

Highly recommend using the size chart although we did order the same size he is wearing in regular Billy's. With the footbed insert they were a bit difficult to get his foot in all the way (he wears SMOs). Once that was removed they fit perfectly! They're very well made, warm, and fit snugly around his leg so they won't fall off. This is a boot he can actually comfortably walk around in the snow with! We will be getting them for years to come for sure. Only downside is the price, but they're well worth it.

Our family is excited to receive our first pair of Billy Ice Winter Boots. Our son can finally wear his AFO throughout the winter.

Thank God for Billy's! We never have to worry about snow getting into her shoes or her feet being cold! So grateful we now have adaptive snow and rain boots ! She got to play in the rain and splash in puddles for the first time! Now I can't wait for her play in the snow!!

My son is 9 and he is finally able to be independent and put on his boot over his afos without struggle. These boots are warm, waterproof, have awesome grip on ice, and stylish! Thank you for making these boots!!

The boots did stay on my childs feet without AFO's and in 20 degree weather his feet stayed nice and warm!

Well made boots and we like them but unfortunately don't fit over AFOs. My daughter walks a short distance to/from school. Was hoping to find something waterproof for winter that would work with AFOs. Took a chance on these even though they didn't come in wide sizing and I thought they might be heavy with AFOs. We'll keep these for next season. I still haven't found waterproof shoes or boots that will fit with AFO's.

I bought these for my boyfriend who has CP and so far he really likes them! Even though they're technically a "kid shoe", we were able to get one of the bigger sizes so they would fit him as an adult. We haven't gotten to try them in the snow yet but they're easy for him to get on and off, which was the main reason I wanted him to try them. They fit his inserts perfectly and the sizing chart was accurate for him. The only difficult thing he mentioned is that there's a lot of room in the "foot part" of the boot so his foot lifts up in the boot quite a bit while stepping. Other than that, we're so happy we were able to find a boot that was functional, easy to put on, and looked great! The only other piece I would add is I know other adults in my life who would really benefit from these boots, but aren't able to fit in the child sizes. If these boots could be made for adults as well, that would be a game changer!

It is very good but does not work with AFI for us. So we use it to walk without afos

This is the first winter boot that works with our kiddos AFO!

Smaller than other shoes in the same size. We havnt used them yet, but they look good and the boy is happy.they fit over his AFO when we took out the inne sole.
