The shoes are too tight. I am unable to wear them very long.

Overall these shoes have been great. Comfortable and nice. I got them as a gift this past Christmas and wore them for a few months then put them away for the warmer months. Now that it is getting colder I brought them back out. A couple weeks ago, the heel block on my left boot has started to separate and make a clicking sound whenever I take a step. I have notice the right heel block starting tp separate a tiny bit as well but not sound (yet). I wore a pair of Aldos that have a very similar design for 2 years straight to work every day and never ran into this issue. Hoping that Johnston and Murphy will replace them for me as it is definitely not something that should happen to a shoes that has barely been worn.

These are comfortable and look good. The thing that is annoying is the zipper. The zipper has caught and ripped out the cuff hemming on my dress pants that I wear these shoes with. I'll have 3 getting fixed now. The zipper also makes a metal clinking sound when you step. My co-workers have renamed me "The Sheriff" and greet me in the morning with a "howdy partner" since it sounds like I have metal spurs on, haha.

Why not have a side view with zipper that is apparently running down the inside side of the boot? That's a critical design and visual feature. Why have laces and a zippered side?

This is the 2nd pair my husband has purchased in less than a year (we were hoping the first pair was just an fluke). Each pair has had the heel separate from the shoe. He travels for work and has been left with a heel detached in the middle of a trip. The 2nd pair was purchased on May 29th and the heel has separated on both pairs by September 29th. Other than the heel issue, they are nice boots, but they can't stand the rest of time. Disappointed and now in the market for a new brand.

I purchased these boots and loved the look, functionality, and comfortability of them. Unfortunately, after only 6 months of wearing them to work as an airline pilot, both heels literally ripped off of the boots. The way the heels are secured to the boots is severely lacking in structural integrity.

Have been wanting to try these I originally purchased a size 10.5. It was too small even though my other J&M shoes are a 10.5. I changed to an 11 and they were way too big. Seems like quality or consistency is lacking in their new shoes.

Like others, very comfortable; -1st fit; but 2 day later/ wearing for a gig/ 3 of the top speed lace holders popped out- after examination, it was obvious the quality control person went on break; asked for swap, but they refunded my money- less shipping, u think u pay close to 200$ for a pair of boots, they wud at least cover the shipping- Thursday boots do the same thing- u may try again, but wait for outlets to get some in

Comfortable boots but the zipper broke completely, of course when I was out of town and didn't have any others to wear so I had to go and purchase new ones.

I would buy these boots in New York minute if it weren't for those stupid zippers. You either have laces or zippers. Not both.

I really loved these boots, but 2 weeks in and the right heel separated. I've had them for a while now and I recently had to glue the heel on for the fifth time. Both heels. I carry Gorilla Glue in my suitcase since they always come off at the worst times. They're beautiful and I get lots of compliments but the quality is not there, especially for the money.

Purchased in October and both boots are tearing apart at the seams.

As I was tying the boot for the very first time. The upper left cap flew off. Disappointed

They didn't even last a year. The leather color is very faded and the soles are separating.
