ASICS have been my favorite shoe in the past yet this style ran extremely narrow. Returned shoe.

So disappointed in Asics but grateful that I purchased through Zappos with their amazing run guarantee. I bought and returned two pairs of Kayanos in Haze because the upper wore ridiculously fast within three weeks. I've been wearing Kayanos for 20 years and I've never experienced this. I loved the color (Haze) and the fit (the usual fits like a glove especially with my superfeet green orthotics) but TWICE the upper started falling apart near the ankle and by the big toe (both on the left shoe only oddly enough). I'm sending the second pair back today and am hoping another version of Asics is as supportive and comfortable until the Kayano 28 comes out.

The sole is very hard and bulky. Although the interior fits a narrow foot, the exterior width is far too wide.

I like them, but I think there's a manufacturing flaw. I bought the grey pair here on Zappos and the blue pair on Amazon. Both pair are splitting in the exact same place, the inside of the left shoe. The grey shoes are older, so more advanced hole. I don't think it's my gait doing it, as this has not happened with any other shoes in my 48 years...

I have been wearing Gel Kayano for many years. The Kayano 27 is an epic failure. They feel much tighter and narrower on my feet. Sadly, they are going back.

I ordered my usual size in Asics (835) and I couldn't even pull the shoe on. I was so excited to get these and they were just too small for me to even try on. Returned and will get a larger size.

I was only able to wear these shoes one time. This is the first time I have ever left a bad review for a Kayano and I've been wearing them for over twenty years. After one 45-minute run, three toes bruised badly under the toenail and one toenail fell off as a result. These shoes were incredibly painful in the toe box. I am surprised and disappointed by this Kayano. The company does not stand behind its shoes anymore. I am seeking a new brand for running.

I loved the kayano 25, so figured I’d stick with these? Awful. They’re so clunky compared to the 25. My feet are covered in blisters, back hurts, ankles ache...I’d 100% return them if it was an option. Would rather run in an old pair that actually has holes.

I liked these shoes initially, but the right shoe has already developed a hole in the toe. These were ordered in early August and this hole appeared within 6 weeks of normal use. Not happy with this, I consider that to be defective, and will, therefore, return them for a refund. Shoes that cost $169.00 should not develop a hole in the toe that quickly and Asics needs to use better quality materials. In addition, the sole is wearing off quickly. Do a better job, Asic designers.
