If you're a Gel Kayano fan like I am, then you'll remember a few years back when they ran small? The 27 is like that again. I'll have to stick with the wide width only again - this shoe was so tight across the top that I could barely tire the laces; there was about 1.5" left on either side.

These shoes are straight up green, mint green! I was so excited to get these and there is nothing on them the color of light steel. So disappointed. Thinking of returning them.

They are too rough! I want to take them back. I used ASICS Before but they did not feel this way. I'm willing to exchange them for something better. Please help

They are comfortable, but they started falling apart within just a few weeks. I'll probably look for a different brand when I need my next pair

I have been wearing Gel-Kayanos for many many years. Had a very difficult surgery on both of my feet and these shoes are the best. I never have to break them in. The problem is, and I can sent pictures, these shoes have already started to get holes on the side on the top of shoe. Not sure why? And the back of the heal of one of the shoe has collapsed. I usually do replace my shoes every 6-8 months because I walk every day buy these won't even make it 6 months. Very disappointed.

Comfortable but the soles are coming apart after maybe 7 low impact walks

Too narrow and stiff... I usually can wear narrow shoes but these are too narrow. Go for wide.

I have purchased the gel kayanos for multiple years and this is the first time the new model was significantly worse than the prior years. The 27 does not have the same cushion or support, which is evident while running. I will be trying to purchase an older model.

This was a very expensive running shoe but it feels exactly like my old one that I was replacing after 10 years. Minimal support and cushioning. Kind of like my bedroom slippers. I didn't know what I should have expected but can't return it because I have worn it outside several times.

After wearing these a couple of times, these began to hurt my right foot. The stability plastic part of the shoe dug into my the inner part of my foot. It is well made and I love the colors but super sad these were disappointing. I've worn Kayanos before and these are well cushioned.

Beautiful color, they just did not fit my foot correctly so, I immediately shipped back. I did not wear them.

I would not recommend this shoe for someone with flat, wide feet. I walk 2-5 miles daily, and struggle with low arches and overpronation. Wearing these shoes for the past few weeks has caused me to have painful shin splints, and my feet continue to noticeably roll inward. I am disappointed and unfortunately would not recommend these shoes.

I usually love Asics. I bought this online though and i'm not impressed with the construction. It kind of puckers around the toe area and the material doesn't sit right. They are also tighter than my other pairs. Not worth the money

These shoes look good, however they run small. I normally wear a size 8.5 and sized up to a 9 thinking it would be good to have some extra room. But they're tight.

I've worn ASICS for many years and when I ordered my new pair I found that I could no longer wear them. They were too flimsy and didn't offer the support that I experienced in past years. The all mesh shoe doesn't offer any stability for my foot or body. They are incredibly cheaply made much to my disappointment. I do hope that you'll come up with a better designed shoe for the future and I don't mind paying more for a better shoe.

I have purchased every model of the Kayano for twenty years. I loved the look of the Kayano 27 and purchased to pairs. I noticed that the back of the shoe hits my achilles tendon. After a couple of months running in them, I now have a bump and pain there, which I have never experienced in my life. I have gone back to wearing my old Kayano 26s, which do not hot the achilles because they are cut lower in the back. The opening of the shoe in the back of the 27s is just too high and stiff, and in my case produced a most unfortunate result.

Not as supportive for distance running. I know these shoes are radically different than the gel nimbus. But, I wanted to try the Kayano style for more supportive running. Not ideal for high arches or under pronators.

I want to be able to buy replacement shoelaces for all your shoes. Other than that you have the BEST SHOES.

The sneakers look pretty but they very uncomfortable. The heal section is extremely snugged and has caused me a lot of pain. I have flat feet and was looking for stability but these sneakers pulled muscles I didn't know existed. Do not purchase!

I have run in Gel Kayanos for a decade, because they were the only running shoe I ever found where my narrow heels didn't slip out the back. I anticipated that I would someday be redesigned out of the shoe, and sadly that day has come. I have gone on a few runs in my new pair, and no matter what socks I wear or how I tie them, my heels slip out when I run. They are also wider than prior versions, so my feet seem to move around more inside the show causing blister concerns, and they are noticeably softer/squishier, which I don't like -- I much preferred the firmer support and stability of previous versions. So, sadly, after a decade-long run (pun intended), I will have to part ways with my beloved Kayanos. Now the challenge of finding a replacement...

Not usual ASICS fit. Tried to wear several days but did not get any better. Bottom of arches felt bruised. Love the look though. Trying to return.
