It's very comfortable but already starting to wear down the tread

For 15 years or more, I have always bought size 9 Gel Kayanos and they have fit perfectly and been the most cushioning comfortable and durable running shoe I have ever had. Unfortunately, the GK 27 is too narrow up front and without wide or half sizes, like 9 1/2, I am afraid I can't get a good fit. My old size 9 Gel Kayano 25s still fit, so I think the tightness of the GK 27 is because the sizing of the 27 has changed. How do I get a GK shoe to fit me now? I don't want to abandon Asics shoes because I believe they are the best but I may have no choice. My fit issue is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

The Gel Kayano 27 are super comfy. I have purchased many of ASICS over the years (they fit my feet perfectly). I would give them 5 stars if they would reinforce the big toe area more fully. It's the only flaw because my big toes go up when I walk or run and I always get a hole in the toes after a couple weeks. Other then that. I would buy them again. But PLEASE REINFORCE THE TOE AREA!

They took several weeks to come. Shoes are great, though.

Great support on first run but feel the sole under ball of feet feels very thin compared to the back, like some cushioning is missing. Middle and back is extremely comfortable and supportive, shame doesn't go throughout.

Used these to run for the first time last week. Very impressed - they have a lot of grip so it made running seem easier. I would recommend for anyone wanting a trusted running shoe

1- colour blend...very nice. Many times out of stock. Have to reorder. 2- Material very helpful in both walking and running. 3- All in all state of art.

I love this shoe, been running in them for years! But what's up with the short shoe laces?? I can barely tie them, and with a thicker sock I will be in trouble. Did I get the kids laces?? Aspics, please send me new laces!

Shoes have helped my knees during running. A pretty god shoe!

Really good... just my instep hurts a little bit when I'm on a longer run... hopefully it will bed in.

This style was a little more narrow than other styles I have gotten in wide width.

Good support and reasonably light Maybe a bit tight on the toes compared to previous models

So far, they are comfortable and feel good on my feet. I have had less than a month- so therefore I did not want to give them a 5 until I use them longer.

Excellent stability trainer that has helped me stay injury free for years. Price is the only element that prevents me from awarding 5 stars.

I've been buying ASICS for the past few years and I'm never disappointed! These are just as good as previous ones as they have the gel forefront and heel so are very comfortable!

I love these trainers! Feels so soft yet stable my runs are so much more enjoyable and not as injury prone (I used to get shin splints fairly often)

The GEL-KAYANO are very comfortable. Plenty of cushion in the heel and ball of foot.

I wish the soles were a bit thicker for pavement running since the gyms are closed. I definitely would benefit from a thicker sole or something to absorb the shock better. I wore these brand new shoes and still managed to get tendonitis from my runs within a month, practicing 3 runs a week.

Very good shoes wonderful overpronation support. Could be a bit wide toebox other than that really good quality shoes fantastic for flat feet l have done 20k long run no pain at all recommend for everyone

Wide shoe box, good stability although not the lightest

With the exception of the narrow Kayano 22 I have always run in Kayanos. These are the usual great cushioning, but quite rigid, heading towards a trail shoe. Side by side, I prefer my Kayano 26, which are still on the go.

Very comfortable and stable. Good running shoe. However I would love running shoes to develop a support area around where the end of your big to rubs. This is the biggest moan from runners I have met and very few companies deal with this. I am sure this could easily be addressed.

I've never owned ASICS before, so I thought I'd give them a shot due to recommendation. I have severe over-pronation. These shoes seems to be helping my foot pain a little, or at least changing it. It makes my big toes hurt a little bit, but I'm wondering if that's because its putting my foot the correct way. For now though, I think purchasing them was a good choice.

Comfortable shoe. Front is different than previous models as it rubs polish off one toe.. A bit heavy & laces shorter than prior models but still a good stability shoe.

So far so good. Been trying to find something like this for a long time. Road running was a no go for a number of years due to knee injuries. Massive difference in such a short time. Costly but looking like they a worth every penny.
