Good looking traditional-style "work" boots with no frills or cushioning. Lightweight construction is good for everyday casual wear, but I would not wear these for heavy work where serious foot protection or durability is needed. I wear these to the office on casual dress day, for dog walking, and for yard work--these are more like a heavy duty sneakers. I like the rippled, non-lug soles that do not fill up with mud. Once I removed the glued-down insoles, I was able to insert my custom orthotics for proper fit. Thin leather, but fast break-in.

I bought these boots along with a very similar Frye boot to compare. These boots were clearly of inferior quality. The leather has a nice color but is thinner and without luster. The inside of the leather is lined with a thin cloth which I suspected would wear away. Also, the welt is plastic, colored to look like leather.

To be honest, I didn't even put these cheap looking things on. I've seen quality shoes at Walmart. Spend your money elsewhere.

Poor quality is visible right out of the box. They fit true to size, but the soles remind me of $5 Walmart flip flops. Honestly, these boots look & feel like some low end Walmart boots. These are definitely not worth $130+. Do yourself a favor, save another $50-$100 buck & get a pair of Keens or upgrade to some Thorogoods.
