Great pair of boots for working in or casual wear. I wore them around the house for a couple hours for a few days to break them in. After that, I wore them out and didn't get blisters.
Sizing was pretty solid. I ordered a pair of 10's and they still fit with some additional arch support inserts, even when I wear thick wool socks.
I really like the height of the boot, makes pants fall nicely. Only complaint I have is that the white soles are susceptible to staining from everyday use, which I expect from a white sole.

These are great boots for all types of work. I bought two pairs and have nearly worn them out. They retained their feel and comfort and have aged very well through water, mud, dirt and sand. I am very pleased and am going to order another pair.

Comfort was most important so I like these boots. I wish they had eyelets for the top shoelace holes- it's a pain to lace them all the way up each time

These were a Christmas purchase for my husband. They are a good-looking boot, and seem to be well made, but he said the toe box was too tight for him (his foot is a bit on the wide side, but not so much we purchase his shoes in a wide width). I had several other pair of similar boots in other brands purchased and on standby Christmas morning so he could decide which pair he liked best- these were by far the most narrow of them all. He ended up liking the Ariat brand the best (same style boot), so we will be sending these back.

Very comfortable, but they do not seem highly durable. These are great boots for style. For work boots, they should hold up ok for light duty, but probably won’t last very long for heavy duty. Even still, they are a great buy for the price.

This review is only after wearing these for a few walks. The other reviews helped inform my purchase, and it's good to understand that these might not be heirloom boots, nor are they full-blown logging or construction boots. I've worn Blundstones for years because they are light, versatile, and can be worn year-round here in the Northeast, so I bought these to behave similarly, and for some slight, er, fashion reprieve. Three years in on my current pair of Blundstones with almost daily vigorous use, so I've got high hopes for these boots. These are light shoes really, versatile, and meet my general test of "can you run in these if needed". The box toe is super comfortable, and I hope the light uppers break in more, and with the squishy sole, these really are like slippers. They look good too, mine are black, or rather it's a bluish black. One caveat, in case you've never had this sole, these shoes have zero traction and you will wipe out if you're not aware walking on snow or ice. On the flip side, a few swipes on a door mat and they won't track anything inside (part of the reason for blundstones is quick on/off, this is another solution to that perennial problem of going in and out constantly). We shall see, but for the price I think these are pretty good boots, ideally the kind that will soon look good and secretly feel like slippers.

Third time’s a charm... sizing was off by a full size (easily) from size chart. First pair (9.5 US) was way too large. Returned for 1/2 size smaller, but still much too big. Returned second pair in exchange for size 8.5 which fit decently well (with larger socks). This was unexpected as most reviews noted that the shoe felt smaller than advertised. Given the (still) slightly bulkier fit, they look/fit better if I wear them as slip-ons (loose lacing) with either cuffed or skinny jeans. Worth the money (sole cushioning is ample and construction appears sound relative to what they cost). NOTE: shoe color is definitely black (as they appear on website) - 100% NOT “navy” In appearance. Support/leather could be more reinforced and tread is practically non-existent (not a good option for work boots). Solid choice for casual (faux-rugged) fashion.

An excellent inexpensive replacement for Red Wing. I liked the color very much. The purchase is very pleased.

Had them for a week now and worn them every day. They’re very lightweight, but don’t feel cheap. Nice leather and comfortable. I wear a wide, so I have plenty of toe room. I wish there was slightly better arch support, not sure I could stand all day in them with putting inserts in. I live in a warm climate so they work well here. Definitely not a winter boot. Good boot for the price though and definitely worth the buy.

I liked the overall look of these shoes, but they are very large and have a boxy profile. Still looking for a similar boot with a slimmer design.

If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable alternative to the similar shoe from Red Wing then you've found it. The boot did feel a half size too small. I normally wear size 9 but had to go up to the 9.5 for this particular boot. There is a seemingly very short break in period on these shoes as they felt super comfortable right out of the box. I went with the Ox Blood color and since I like these boots so much I'm actually considering a second pair in a different color.

Very comfortable boots but the leather is a little on the thin side for work boots. I found the size to be okay but I also have narrow feet. The most annoying thing about them is the lack of a finger pull on the back of the boot to make getting them on easier.

I've always been a fan of Red Wing Irish Setters, but they're pretty expensive. These are well made, and extremely comfortable right out of the box. They have good quality leather and construction. There is not a whole lot in the way of extra padding and orthotic support, but you get what you pay for. They seem to be a little short in length, but moccasin toes will always stretch a bit over time. I'm very pleased!

Decent leather but has some coating on it that peels away just days later, in addition the insole is rather thin & glued in place. After several hours I feel I'm wearing something from the clearance aisle. Overall construction is akin to a cheap sneaker. Not at all worth asking price.

I liked the style and they fit ok (maybe a half size too big) but unfortunately the sole of the pair I received were not properly glued in the front and there was an unglued gap between the welt and the sole. I think they would have had a stitching failure once dirt started getting packed in the gap. They were a little stiff and would have taken a week or two to get broken in and comfortable.

The boot looks (and smells) great, but there is something off about the fit. I have a hard time getting my foot in the boot and when I tie the laces, even lightly, there is a lot of pressure on the top of my foot from the tongue and top of the shoe - as if there is not enough vertical room for my foot. I've never had this problem with any other shoe or boot, so I don't think I have exceptionally tall feet - it just seems like a vertically narrow fit. I was disappointed to realize they weren't going to work for me, as I thought the boots looked great and were a very affordable price.

Excellent boot and very comfortable, the only issue I have is that they wore completely smooth after only 1 year of regular use.

The boot is comfortable and seems well made. But, this boot has zero (!) traction in ice and snow, so I don't recommend this if you plan to go outside in the winter.

Good looking traditional-style "work" boots with no frills or cushioning. Lightweight construction is good for everyday casual wear, but I would not wear these for heavy work where serious foot protection or durability is needed. I wear these to the office on casual dress day, for dog walking, and for yard work--these are more like a heavy duty sneakers. I like the rippled, non-lug soles that do not fill up with mud. Once I removed the glued-down insoles, I was able to insert my custom orthotics for proper fit. Thin leather, but fast break-in.

I bought these boots along with a very similar Frye boot to compare. These boots were clearly of inferior quality. The leather has a nice color but is thinner and without luster. The inside of the leather is lined with a thin cloth which I suspected would wear away. Also, the welt is plastic, colored to look like leather.
