I really like the shoe, but the heel was too wide....sigh.

I hoped these flats would work for me, as I really need a black flat. Quality is always good on SAS. However, although I don't have bunions, the shoe hurts right in the "bunion area". Also, the S is not slim enough in the heel. I am sending this order back. t

I have the black lace in this style in the same size and they are a perfect fit. The black was wide in the heel.

I could write this same review for any flat pump style shoe I try. The toebox is universally too shallow, and often too narrow. I have a wider forefoot and a narrower heel, so need a duck shaped shoe that doesn't squish my toes to a point and press down on my big toe.

Wish I could have kept these in size 12S because they would be a wonderful basic. But they hurt the big toes! And they gap which is not a new problem for me since my true size is the harder-to-find 12SS. A really good-fitting SAS 12S shoe has worked fine for me for years without gaps or slipping at the heel. It sadly is no longer being made. And while SAS has been my go-to for shoes that fit, the last two SAS loafers/flats I've tried have not been keepers due to the problems with this one and the heel-slip in the last one.

The toe box was too shallow. It hurt my toe nails. Also, although I do not have a bunion, it cut into the TOP of my toe joint and was putting pressure on it. I have twenty pairs of SAS shoes. This is the only pair that did not fit me ever.

Although the foot bed was well cushioned I was surprised at the complete lack of arch support. I do have high arches so this shoe might be fine for someone with lower arches. The style doesn't scream orthopedic, but is very meh.

I really liked these shoes, but they did not fit quite right. They felt tight across my toes, and too loose at the heel. The front cut right across the base of my big toe (arthritis) so that didn't work. And I walked out of them as the heel was too loose.

Nice looking shoe, but I wear a 9.5 wide but have a very narrow heel - am sending these back, even though they are very cute. The heel keeps slipping on and off making it hard to walk - I know I won't wear them but once and at this price, it's too much to sit in my closet.

Very small toe box.

This shoe did not fit at all, though this is my normal size. This was my first purchase of SAS shoes. Perhaps they run small...? Must return.

I tried both the 7 N and the 7 1/2 Narrow. The bigger one was too big by about a full size, and the smaller one was too small by a half size. I love SAS shoes, but their sizes don’t work for me anymore. And I need to be able to substitute my own orthotics in everything. These did work for that.

I have very narrow feet and ordered these because they came in Slim. The toe box fits fine, but the heel was very wide. I walked right out of them. I kept them because I have been unable to find flats in Slim. I added a heal pad to both sides of the heel and that fixed the problem. The style is not quite what I was looking for. They are a little "old lady" looking. But again, I kept them because I have been able to find black flats in a slim width. Have not worn them yet so can't comment on arch support.

This footbed is fabric and the lining extremely stiff. Not the quality of materials I would expect from SAS
