I love SAS shoes and was excited to try the Scenic black lace"ballet slipper style" in my normal 8 1/2 AA shoe size.Delivery was great, the shoes were darling, but I was disappointed that the shoe length seemed shorter than other shoes and the toe area seemed narrower. My right foot, which is smaller than the left, felt cramped. The shoes were returned and I am seriously considering to try the 9 narrow size.

I have had such trouble finding flats as a person with VERY wide feet (I feel like most wide width advertised shoes are a flat out lie). I've definitely tried on and returned my share. This brand and cut were the first that really had me excited. The wide width is actually wide width and there's enough space for my toes. You can take the insole out if you want to put your own in, but it's fairly squishy. The black lace is very pretty. It's definitely a little pricey, but I wore my last flats into the ground, so if they last a few years then it's worth it.

"Fog" is a really beautiful neutral, very unique with subtle striations and a bit of sheen. I regret having to return these, but they lack comfort. Though true to size, and the footbed is well cushioned, there is so little support that I can't imagine wearing them for extended periods of time.

Nice looking ballet shoe, I wish they fit! But the toe box was too tight and my toes cramped in. The length was perfect, no flip of the heal. A 12 usually flips on me. I'd say these fit a half size smaller.

These felt too short in the toes and too short over the toes. The black lace finish looks dressy.

Because these are wide, they tend to flop around a bit. However, they are too short over the toes.

SAS shoes have always fit my 10N foot, but lately they have felt a half size smaller. My big toe hits right at the end. I have several SAS shoes from over the years and they fit just fine. I am sorry to have to return them. Again, Zappos, thank you for such good service.

I had to exchange a 9 for 9 1/2, these run a little small. But they are the unicorn, a pretty, feminine ballet flat with good support and comfort for walking. My first SAS shoes, won’t be the last.

I love this style and color, but sadly they will be going back. Despite ordering a W width, they cut straight across my foot in the middle of a small sized bunion and hurt. Just a half inch more coverage and they would have been perfect.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I do wish they had arch support though. I ordered a 6W first, my regular size. My toes were squished, so I returned them for a 7W. It's then I realized, my feet had been abnormally swollen. The 7W was a little too long for me, so I think a 6.5W would have fit in length, but the width of the toe in the 7W was perfect. However, the heel was too wide and kept slipping off. While these shoes are very comfy, they just weren't the right fit for me. Zappos returns are amazing so fast and easy!

It’s very hard for me to find a shoe that fits just right. The arch support was perfect on this shoe, unfortunately the top pinched part of my toe. Otherwise I would’ve loved to of kept these shoes.

I'm a true 8.5 wide and these shoes fit fine out of the box. But I was not impressed with the support and comfort with the brand and price. Disappointed.

These shoes seemed to be longer than other SAS shoes I've had in the past. I think they'd be comfortable for some amount of walking, but it was hard to tell because of the length. The "Scenic Fog" feels like a Fall color to me.

This shoe is cute but did not do anything for me. It is a plain shoe so if that is what you need or want, this would work

I kept these because they were almost a great fit and I needed the color. The heel on these runs a bit wide (at least for me, but I have a narrow heel). And they're a bit rigid when you walk. But the insert comes out and you can install your own custom insert. I wear a 5M.

I have another color in this style that fits great so I tried the blue. It's not as light as the photo ... more true navy. Plus, I think someone had tried it on with inserts and the heels were kind of stretched out and no longer held my foot. The heels are a little wide anyway -- I may put a heel grip in my other pair. On the plus side, you can remove the insert and install your custom insert if you want. Anyway, they just weren't as comfy as my other pair (5M) so back it went.

I had to try 2 sizes in both W and M to find one that fit. I ended up going with a half size larger than normal and the M width. The heels slip and I will need to use heel grips and will also need to have the shoe stretched where the edge of the shoe ends in the front top as it hit a bone there. But, I love the look and it is what I was looking for.

These are attractive shoes and the quality is fine. I wear an 8.5 N but my heels slipped out of them. I had to return them.

These are very plain ballerina flats. On me, they felt soft, appropriately sized, and just a bit heavier than I expected. Close, but not quite what I wanted, so I'm exchanging them.

I really love these. SAS makes a great shoe and they are targeting more younger women. This flat is super simple and basic on the outside but provides very firm support on the inside. The soles have really lovely support. The leather is thick - almost too thick in that it will take a while to break in. I’ve had these for about six months. I have very wide, fat feet and my feet slipped into the 8.5WW nicely and they make my feet look feminine. Only issue is that I was hoping the top of the toe area would soften up more. The width is great along the curved area where my toes begin to show just barely. The leather is so thick and stiff that after walking in them this are cuts into my foot and I have a visual curved mark when I take them off. This all depends on how your feet fit into the shoe so it will be different for everyone. I wear the shoe for days when I don’t have to walk so much but darn, these would be the absolute best if I can get that area to soften a bit.

Pretty shoes but the upper edge cut into the top of my foot.

It could have been THE ONE, ...beautifully finished, lovely suede, but the toe box, though comfortably wide, was too short for the big toe and it wasn’t going to work. The blue suede was not a clear blue or navy..it looked purple in indoor light.
