These fit me well, but have to return only because the sole is slippery, and being a fall risk due to my knees, I cannot take a chance.
They also fit my heel well.

I have difficult feet and have come to appreciate SAS shoes for their supportive construction, roomy toe box and attempt at a more modern style. These are great shoes but I'm returning the black suede. I am hard on shoes so I'm afraid of potential issues with how they wear.

I've been looking for a comfortable, supportive, semi attractive tie shoe for everyday that will accommodate my orthotics , bunions, etc.
These shoes seemed like "the ones" when I first tried them on. Unfortunately, with my orthotic they are a bit too snug for comfort.

Very comfortable. I still needed to use my orthopedic inserts. However the style looks like orthopedic shoes. I wear with khakis to work that help cover the shoe, to help hide that I'm wearing this type of shoe. Ordered 9n.

I decided SAS walk easy 6 medium was a good fit but I did not like the color. I really wanted white and the style was not for me. I usually wear SAS free time but for some reason the 5 1/2 wide is too wide, 5 1/2 medium to narrow. I have received the SAS free time mesh in 6 medium, white and have not worn them yet to see how the fit will be. SAS was easy to purchase but there 5 1/2 medium always fit, for over 10 yrs., now to narrow even in sandals.

Lovely just not for my left foot. Right shoe was comfortable. Sad because I have SAS sandals and wear them all the time without discomfort on either foot.

I have been searching for a good supportive shoe to help me with arthritis in my hips and spine. Used to wear Clark’s, but since they no longer make the “Wavetrek” I am no longer a fan. Decided to try SAS due to the reviews. VERY expensive, so I was looking for perfection. The arch support was wonderful. I have a very high arch and find there is just no support in most athletic and walking shoes today. Only gripe I really have with these is they feel a little loose around the ankle. Not as snug as I would like. Find my heel slipping. However, overall comfort is wonderful,

Very comfortable walking shoe with nice roll as you walk forward. It seems like the Walk Easy is better for walking on flat surfaces, not for hiking as it does not have a lot of side-to-side stability. I would like a little higher support around the sides of the ankle as it seems a little loose even though I do tighten up the laces.

These are beautiful shoes; however, the toe box is stiff and hurt my toes. I almost kept them, but I have arthritis and don't want to go through the softening stage where my feet hurt for 6 months first.

I have the SAS Cozy sandal in 11 2A which fits great, so ordered Walk Easy in the same size. I have very slim heels, and a bunion on one foot. The 11 in this shoe is too long and 2A slips in the heel. The quality is very good and comfortable.. Since then I ordered another SAS style in 10.5 3A and it was not long enough but the heel did not slip for me. the 3A was good.. So it looks like 11 3A may be my size. Will see!

The SAS Walk Easy is a comfortable shoe with a wider toe box that supports my feet. I have hammer toes, one foot with a bunion, and use prescription orthodics. The 9 wide size fits the front of my foot, but does have some looseness in the heel. With heavier socks, that seems to help with the heel. I need the room in the toe box to accommodate the toes, ball of the foot and bunion on left foot. I just received them last week, so hoping that they are a good choice for me. I did consider ordering a size 8 1/2 W., but feel I need the extra room for the toes.

It is always a huge challenge to find decent looking shoes that my plantar fasciitis-afflicted feet can wear for a lengthy period of time. Many "comfort" brands do not work; others are too unattractive. These shoes are appropriate for leisure as well as business casual, and seem like they will remain comfortable even after hours of being on my feet.

These are not the hottest style shoe, but they do deliver in stability and comfort. So I'm going to rock them! I got the sage which I thought would be good for heading into springtime. I feel very supported and would wear these over my sneakers going on walks or traipsing around anywhere. They are lightweight and easy to move in.

Sturdy shoe with wide toe box. Decent style. Decided to return it because it is heavier than I would like.

I hired a driver, to go to shoe store to try on as many brands of shoes possible because of the problems I am having finding a pair of shoes that fits and is comfortable. The store did not carry as too many different brands, as it is a small uniform shop. They did carry SAS shoes, and did carry this style. I normally wear a size 10 medium width, though I am on the upper edge of a medium width, but usually a wide width is too wide. I also have a narrow heel, and need excellent arch support.
In the store I tried on a size 10 medium, but it was a bit too long, and not wide enough. I found one pair of size 9.5 wide to try on for comparisons, and the 9.5 seemed to fit alright. I came home and ordered the size 9.5 wide from Zappos. At first I thought these shoes were going to work for me, though I only wore them for short times on carpet, a couple of times, in case they didn't. It soon became evident to me, that the collar of the shoe was too high, and rubbed on the bottom side of my ankle bones. I tried putting a heel pad under the insole to raise up my foot, and give more room between the top of the shoe and my ankles bones. This only minimally helped, so sadly I needed to return these shoes, and continue my search. This pair of shoes also did not feel as wide as the pair I had tried on in the store, even though they were marked as a wide width. If it wasn't for the top of the shoe causing my ankle bones to be sore very quickly, I probably would have kept the shoes, and just stretched the toe area a bit. However, the soreness these shoes were causing with my ankle bones was a deal breaker.
There was nothing wrong with this shoe. It just didn't work for my feet. My feet are sensitive, and I typically have difficulty finding shoes that have the arch support that I need, fit correctly and are comfortable. I have tried seven different brands of shoes and styles, and so far, all seven have needed to go back. I am extremely gratefully for Zappos' understanding and generous return policy. Thank you!

I so want to like these shoes, but the vamp is just too tight for my foot. Otherwise they were perfect. I tried for a week and decided I had better return them before I ended up with little toe problems....they were being smashed.

this shoe has great motion control and comfort. the narrow runs on the narrow side. reordered as medium but heel too wide. would recommend. for people who have knee issues. the insole prevents shock absorption and helps with knee pain.

I have another pair in "Nero" charcoal nubuck and love them. ***** in all categories for those. However, the chocolate nubuck is a very dull brown color, not the lively reddish brown depicted in the photo. They aren't as stylish looking as the charcoal ones, thus the lower scores overall and for style. I returned them immediately without even trying on.

I have Morton's Neuroma and these shoes are just the right amount of padding and tilt. My orthodics fit in the shoe well. So glad I finally found a shoe that works - and it's made in the US!

I've only been wearing these for a couple of weeks now, but they are great. Very comfortable. I usually order Clarks 7.5 Wide, but I ordered the 7.5 WW in the SAS shoe. I'm glad I did. I wasn't sure if they would be overly wide, but they are not. The shoes are very structured and should keep their shape. I have a nero and chocolate nubuck. My nero's look like they are navy though, so if you want them to look black you should order the black ones. I have a lot of dark grey slacks that they go good with. The shoe isn't as comfortable as a tennis shoe/sneaker, but I was looking for a comfortable shoe that I could go to meetings in at work and walk around a lot on a school campus.

I was hoping these would be comfy and cute. They are comfy, but I don't find the style to be cute at all. Also, these had some scuff marks, as though they had been worn before. They're going back.

This is a good looking SAS shoe, but did not work for me because my right heel (the longer of my 2 feet) comes right up out of the back every time I step. I was so sad to send them back. I tried different sizes, but I think there is just something about my gait that demands more coverage at the back of the ankle to prevent walk-out. I didn't have any ankle pads to try, but it was so dramatic that I doubt that would have made a difference.

I love these shoes. The heel runs a little wide so that I had to wear a slender vs. my normal narrow, but overall, I'm pleased.

I have a hard time with SAS shoes. I seem to be between 2 sizes, which is very frustrating. I would LOVE to support an american company but for some reason I have this problem. My mom on the other hand LOVES SAS shoes & has about 6 pair and they wear like iron!
