These boots were LOVELY, but the calf was so wide that they looked ridiculous on my legs. Having said that, I do have thin legs, but not overly thin calves by any means. I really wish they had fit better because the boots were beautiful otherwise.

I love Born shoes! They fit me nicely. They have good arch support & adequate toe box for my bunion. They have high-quality workmanship, are very comfortable and very good looking.

Loved the style and the leather is beautiful but the shaft was so wide at the top that it just looked weird, this was not a wide calf so I'm not sure if there was some sort of defect but I'm going to try again and 1/2 size smaller in the foot and regular size in calf

I love these boots. I’ve got wide calves and have never been able to comfortably wear tall boots before. These fit right out of the box and have broken in beautifully. I am an elementary teacher and spends most of the day on my feet…these are comfortable all day long. Plus they look great. I wear them with leggings, jeans, and dresses.

Fit is spot on. Leather is a good quality and does not feel cheap but, yet feels soft and comfortable. Fits my athletic calves and wider foot well.

Exactly what I was looking for! They will look great with dresses as well as jeans and are comfortable right out of the box. I love Born footwear—these boots are no exception!

Super cushy footbed. True to size. Description says distressed but you can’t see it well in images. I would call it mild distress. Slightly less formal but not significantly

I love Born boots and have been looking for a pair similar to ones I have had in the past, the leather does seem a little different, but the overall fit and comfort are similar these are exactly what I was looking for.

I honestly wasn't going to keep both styles I tested out but these were so cushy and comfy that I couldn't let them go!

I got these boots for Christmas this year from my mom and could not love them more!!!!! The leather is so soft and supple and seems to be very high quality. I recently went to Israel for a week and wore these boots everywhere, as I explored different cities on foot and walked around 6 miles per day. My feet were extremely comfortable the whole time and the shoes didn’t need a “breaking in” period. I love how simple and classic these boots are- they look good with jeans, or you can dress them up easily. I would say these boots fit true-to-size, I’m normally a size 6.5-7 depending on the brand. I got a size 7M and they were a little snug at first in the width but have stretched a little and molded to my feet in the month I’ve had them. Overall I am in love with these boots and will cherish them for years to come.

Just received, only wore once, but loved them right out of the box! Soft, fit my calves, felt good doing a bit of walking. So far, so good. Also, beautiful!

Damaged and note in box referencing damaged bf leaving zappos. Sad. as you sent them out anyway???? returned but no credit to my account. Sad x 2. Credit card dispute to follow if rerun not processed by 3/25/24.

I'm so disappointed with Zappos. I ordered Born shoes from Zappos because that was the only website that had a particular boot that I was looking for. So not only did the boot arrived days later (which wasn't a problem) but Zappos had the audacity to send me a wide calf Easy Spirit boot. The Easy Spirit boot look was different from the Born boot, it was not genuine leather, and I feel it was just straight up disrespectful.

I adore these boots. I have worn them almost every day for 2 fall / winter seasons now and they still look as beautiful as the day I bought them. The leather is beautiful and soft and they have just the right amount of support so that my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I can't recommend them enough.

Love the boots. A lot of reviews about being too big in the calves. They fit me perfect. I don’t think I have big calves.

Super comfortable - get lots of complements. Not extremely wide, but definitely wider calf.

The size of the shoe was perfect. The shaft is a bit tight but I know it will stretch as I wear it.

Love these boots. Been looking for a soft brown suede. They’re going to be great with a cute skirt or jeans. I’m a 5 1/2-6 and the fit is perfect. Born has comfort and style! Would recommend!!
