Lee, please listen to your customers. I have been wearing #3071849 for years. Actually, I've never worn anything but Lee jeans and pants. Now you changed them. The 1% spandex is just enough stretch and the 99% cotton holds its shape. Like the other women, I will be looking for another company to purchase my jeans unless you bring back the ones we love. I sure hope you are listening.

So that would explain why recently when I tried these on in the store they were not comfortable and didn't fit at all like the ones I have. I have worn these jeans for years and mine are starting to wear out. I'm trying to replace. I will also look for something with a more comfortable fit.

Yes, I too returned the jeans when I realized the relaxed fit were no longer the same. I've found myself buying Mens now. Yikes. Or as a last resort, I turn to Levi. I'd rather pay more for cotton LEES, bring them back!!!

I have wore lee relaxed fit jeans through many different sizies in my adult life and every size fit me ALL DAY without a problem but now I HATE the stretch jeans you have ruined a perfect jean for many different shape women. Please bring back the cotton jean.

I agree with the others. I have been buying these jeans for years and always loved them, but this last pair is being returned. I hate the Spandex and the fit now. Lee, I hope you go back to the way they were before or you have lost lots of customers. You have ruined these jeans. Being short, the low rise jeans don't look right on me and I don't like the flared legs either. Now I have to try to find another brand that fits.

Glad to see others feel the same way. HATE HATE HATE the "new" jeans. Bring back the 99% cotton. I hope you listen to your customers - there are plenty of choices out there with spandex and lycra - Lee was one of the very few that still offered true COTTON jeans. I wish I could give the product 0 stars, but that's not an option.

With all the spandex and "stretch" in the new jeans, I have to buy the next size larger so that they don't fit like they're painted on. Most uncomfortable jeans I've ever wasted money on, very disappointing after all the years I've trusted Lee Rider jeans to be exactly the fit I need.

Lee, Lee, Lee. Oh, what have you done!! These are not jeans. Whoever heard of jeans made with polyester and spandex? Remember Coca-Cola's blunder with the new formula Coke? Don't mess with success. Extremely disappointed in these new jeans. I have been buying your jeans for many years, but I can't buy anymore until you bring back real jeans. I just can't wear these pajama type jeans. Any chance you will bring back either 100% or 99% cotton jeans? And not too high in the waist - like belly button level - and not too low - like exposing you know what in the back. If I say "pretty please" will you do it? If you read all the reviews you'll see that I'm not alone. Please listen to us ladies and make us happy and proud again. Thanks.

Please , please bring back the 99% cotton relaxed fit bootcut womens jeans !! Oh how I miss them. Have not liked your new stretch products. Have switched to A.N.A jeans from Penneys. At least they are not that stretchy cheap looking material. THANKS!!!

Ditto to the comments below about not liking the new "stretch" blends. Please bring back the original, mostly cotton jeans. I won't buy the new ones. they look terrible on me, and they look cheap.

Bring back the cotton. I agree with the last review February 16. I will be looking elsewhere for jeans that are 99% cotton jeans. Too Spandex!

I have always worn Lee jeans. Through many years Lee has always been a reputable brand. I HATE the new blends.PLEASE, PLEASE, bring back at least the 99% cotton jeans if not the 100% cotton. Now I am forced to look for a new brand which isn't stretch, hard to find I know.

I am also disappointed in the jeans. I have lots of pairs of the original denim ones which I love. When these arrived and had all of that polyester and spandex, it was terrible! They don't fit right and make me look huge. They cling to me and just look bad. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL DENIM JEANS in the Relaxed Fit Straight at the waist!!

I am 40 years old. I don't wear low rider jeans or stretch jeans. I have been a faithful customer to Lee jeans since this is one of the few places to purchase "at the waist" jeans. I recently purchased my usual style. It isn't denim. It is stretchy....very tight fitting, stretchy. I sent them back.

I see I am joining the many voices that are looking for the 99% cotton jeans. I HATE the new blends. I too have worn LEEs for many years. Now I'm looking for a new brand--one in cotton!

I loved the 99% cotton jeans, fit my "older" figure. I don't want to feel like I'm; wearing a girdle - hate these stretchy jeans. Guess I'll have to find a new brand of jeans to buy. BRING BACK THE 802'S

If I could get these jeans back in at least 98% cotton. These have been my go to jeans for many years and I know cotton cost more now so Iwould pay more to get my old favorites back. I have tried several other styles and am just not as happy.

I have worn Lee Jeans since 1986, and the change from all cotton to 99% cotton 1% spandex was great but the addition of polyester is absolutely terrible. The jeans feel different, wear different and will not be purchased again. I'm reluctant to change brands after all these years but I DON'T LIKE these jeans.

I have bought these jeans, #3051849, for years and have really loved them until now.
The jean has become very difficult to find. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure stores even carry them any longer. Even so, I would gladly order them from the website if the material had not been drastically changed.
The fabric blend had been 99% cotton/1% spandex but now cotton has been reduced to 72% and 27% polyester has been added. This fabric change is unacceptable to me. I would gladly pay more to get what I want, preferably 100% cotton.
Lee may be saving money by changing the fabric, but they have lost a long time customer.

Please make some jeans for women in their 50's that don't want the waist of the jeans at their belly button. Also, forget the spandex. Some of us are still in decent shape and don't want to wear grandma jeans with a stretch waist. Bring back the vanilla color and cut them so we can wear boots.

that fit so well and still looked like real jeans should look. I've been wearing these jeans for years but the recent change in fabric has left me fleeing the scene. They feel strange and look strange. I'm in my 50s with an average build (12L) and the cut on these jeans is perfect. Not too low at the waist and other than the fabric, the cut is youthful and flattering. Like others, they do tend to wear quickly in the inner upper thigh, but for the price I'm willing to buy a new pair more often just to get something that fits and looks flattering--at this age or any age. I hope that Lee considers taking another look and brings back a true classic. In the meantime, I will mend what I have and hope for the best.

I second the review by everydjsantafe. I wish your jeans were more cotton - like they used to be. I wish they didn't wear out so easily on the inner thigh (sigh !). I wish I could find them in the stores, especially Penneys. I've been buying them there for years. On a positive note, Lee's are the only jeans that truly fit me at the waist. I hate low rise.

I agree with many of the writers here that ask Lee to bring back the old relaxed fit jeans. I am 50 years old - I do not want super tight jeans and certainly do not want polyester in my jeans. I used to buy these jeans regularly but won't buy them again until Lee goes back to the original fit/material.

Dear Lee Jeans ~
I have been buying - and wearing exclusively - your jeans since I was 13 (1973). I feel they have always had the best fit and comfort for women's bodies, bar none - that includes designer jeans, and especially Levis or Gap jeans.
Since I'm now "older and wider" - more of the former but just a little of the latter, wearing size 10 - I appreciate the relatively recent addition of some stretch in your basic jeans (the 99% cotton/1% Spandex ones). However, I've noticed that they tend to wear out more quickly in the seam area between my legs, and tend to start ripping apart there relatively soon, while the rest of the jean is in great shape. In fact, I just spent the morning restitching the upper inseams of about four pair to repair them.
You could say that it's my fault for having thighs that are too close together, but I feel I have an average body compared to most US women - and I feel that my (your) jeans should last longer! I'm wondering if your designers can't figure out a way to keep some stretch in the jeans while keeping the upper inseam stronger?
On a related note, it has been disappointing to find ever fewer of your "classic" style jeans (relaxed fit, straight or boot cut) in my favorite stores, such as JC Penney. There are so many "young girl" variations in your jeans now, there seems to be no shelf space for just a classic-fit jean for women - ones like me who like comfort and something rugged, and who don't care for all the style bells and whistles, etc. I have had to go online to find these, and I fear that soon I won't be able to find them anywhere.
I've been a customer for almost 40 years - surely you can still provide jeans that an old-timer like me likes to wear?
Thanks for your time.
