Loved the look of these shoes and they felt like they’d be great for winter but they were a half size too small compared to my normal size. Unfortunately Zappos didn’t have the half size larger so I had to return them and couldn’t get a different pair. Size up if you’re interested in these.

First, I believe the best fitting shoe is one that feels like you have no shoe on at all, it just fits... perfectly! (Should you really need to break in a shoe?) This Sorel "dual zip" shoe fell just short of a perfect fit for me. After zipping them up then snugging up the laces I detected a pressure point against the top of my foot..., not comfortable. Looking for the cause, that point was near the base of one zipper where the thin inner leather flap bunched up (when zipped closed). That is also the point (others have mentioned) where the zipper can catch and now I see that cause firsthand, that leather flap. This flap is supposed to keep fluid from getting in the boot through the zipper but with it cut so short I don't see how that happens? Other side-zipper boots I've seen have this inner flap run the entire distance with the zipper, Sorel cut this one too short I think and that's what results in zipper jambs (and this bunching of material). Other than this pressure point (unfortunately) I think this this is a well constructed and comfortable boot. Arch support isn't bad, but in my case I'd need a bit more... had I kept these boots!

Usually wear a size 13, ordered a 14 and the fit was good, very comfortable, the problem was the side zippers, metal zippers on a mud and snow boot? Found it very hard to zip up and these boots are made for handicap people, maybe I just got a pair of bad zippers? Sent back for refund. Too bad.

The zipper broke on the first pull out of the box. The zippers are unfortunately not well made and not up to the standards of Sorel or my Caribou boots I’ve had for 34 years.

Both boots had a faulty zipper. Inspector #7 needs glasses! I expected better quality from SOREL

Nice boot but if you have man feet don't waste your time ...you aren't fitting in these comfortable.

Returned item was way too small

These boots are terribly disappointing and uncomfortable. They are tight in the toes and baggy in the mid-foot. But the really uncomfortable part is that they feel like the arch support is on the outside of the foot (yes, I have them on the right feet). This makes me feel like my whole foot is rotated toward the inside. My feet ached after wearing these for only about an hour. Truly disappointing, and now I'm stuck with them...

I ordered a size 13 - Zappos sent me a mismatched pair (one 12 and one 13) and BOTH were too narrow and tight.

I really wanted to love these but the fit was so bad that I couldn’t wear them. I started with 11 1/2 then 12 then 13 none of those sizes fit.

Felt more like slippers than boots

The boots were worn less than 10 times and zipper broke. Very disappointing.

Great look, but Very uncomfortable

These were a gift for my 80+ year father in law and my father who has to go in and out of the house quite a bit with his dog. I thought the easy on with two zippers would be great. But on both pairs both sets of zippers stuck every time I tested them and would not zip and unzip smoothly. So I had to come up with another gift. I am a big fan of the brand and own some that I love but the low quality zippers sadly ruined these.

Runs really small
