I have had so much trouble with Sorel sizing over the past few seasons! I always have to order/return/order/return several times to get the right size. The only thing they really have going for them is the styles! they are all so CUTE!

A curious mixture of too small and too large. I bought 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size and the width was my usual medium. However on wearing the shoe was too short but also too wide. Moreover, the theoretical advantage of the side zippers was vitiated by the fact that the sides were of thin material, more sock-like than shoe-appropriate. This contributed to the feeling of overall poor support above the ankle.

The boots are very attractive. The width was too narrow for a standard width foot. Mens 11 D - I was able to put my foot into the boot, but it was so tight, I could not keep. Had to return. Size in toe box was correct - just too narrow.

We bought these for my 80 year-old father because they were advertised as accessible with the two zippers. They look stylish and they would have been functional for him, EXCEPT that the metal zippers are super stiff and won't budge up or down without a lot of force and they get stuck on the suede expansion fold inside the shoe. They are unfortunately absolutely not accessible at all, not even for someone with full strength and flexibility. I'd worry that eventually the zippers would break from forcing them.

This is the second pair I've had to return because turns out they run a full size too small. They are one of the few boots with dual zippers which is awesome. Also the look and insulation are good but the negatives are poor fit around the ankles (too loose and can't be easily cinched by tightening the laces) and rough operating zippers that are waterproofed to only 1/3 of their length.

Sorel's mentioning a 1/2 size up is correct. I have wide feet so I have been ordering a 1/2 size up on most medium width shoes for a few years now. I thought I was in trouble when I tried these on with a hiking/winter sock as they felt really narrow but they started to give a little after a few minutes of wearing them and after a day of wearing them they felt fine. Unlike Vans where I have to pay the price in the forefoot where they are typically narrow and much less forgiving. These are comfortable to walk in and offer decent cushioning/comfort. The shoes also did well while driving as I still had a good feel for the gas and brakes which is not typical with other boots that I own. The double zips make putting them and taking them off much easier.

they were beautiful boots but too small so I returned them.

I ordered these for my son because he doesn’t like to shop & I ordered a size up just because I already knew they ran small. I loved the style but I guess it wasn’t really my son’s taste. So nothing bad to say just wasn’t for him.

fit was not true to size, I reordered a full size larger. I sent the boots back and UPS somehow sent me another pair of boots that I didn't order. Customer Service was excellent in helping me return the boots and having UPS pick up the boots. I would order from Zappos in the future with such a good customer service organization

I bought these not realizing what "adaptive" meant - but I love them! As it works out, having the zippers makes these a great option for apres ski, as they're super quick to put on/take off. And they're plenty warm and stylish for a winterish boot..

They were difficult to get on even with two zippers down. The heel was the most difficult part; really tight.

Loved the style. Ran small and narrow, so uncomfortable.

I ordered one full size up and the fit is perfect. Zippers on shoe sides very shift and hard to zip but they are new.

Nice boot. Delivery was terrible. Left at end of a plowed driveway in the snow. Getting sick of deliveries not going to my door step. Making me rethink ordering on line.

I am returning these. They're too small, and for the price they are not as comfortable as my previous Sorels.

We ordered the normal size and when received the boots were too small and we needed to go up a half size. Had I read other reviews prior to ordering I would have seen this is true for this style. What I really need to RAVE about is Zappos exchange ... we received the replacement shoes the very next day and the refund the following day. That was amazing! Especially given a recent experience with another company where it's been over 30 days and I am still waiting on the refund. This alone made want to consider Zappos as my go place to look for shoes!
