I always buy these snug, as they do stretch out after time, but they're like walking on clouds. Of all the boots I've had these are the only brand and model I've never had to break in. I wear them the first day all the way through and no foot pain/strain. The extra toe protection is awesome for fabricators. The laces are set further back on the ankle, so they sit under the pant leg and do not get burned as other boot laces do. Most boots usually last me under 6 months, within the next 30 days I'm going on a year with these. The only thing I truly wish they would change is the sole. If these came in heat resistant soles I'd be the happiest welder on the planet. I'm about to buy a new pair of soles (I believe they're like 30$) to see if I can stretch the life out some more.

Unfortunately I have to return the boots, I brought them as a gift for my son and he said he outgrew timberland. So I will be buying me a pair because I love timberland. There always in style to me.

Great boots but make sure to buy high socks so the boots don't chafe your ankles.

Extremely durable and long lasting. 4th pair in 10ish years, I average 2-3years per pair. Worth every penny!! Just wish the insoles lasted longer.

I used to wear boondocks with a steel toe, they were a little heavy. I thought I'd try red wings. Worst decision I ever made. After a month my hips, feet and knees were killing me. I could t believe it. Then I seen the boondocks with a composite toe! After throwing away almost 300$ on red wings just 3 months ago I decided to buy the boondocks again. Best decision I ever made. I will never buy anything different

I like the Boondock Line of Boots and the Summit Line is another favorite of mine. I still have my original Boondocks boots from 3 years ago and I still wear them. I have only wore these for a week but so far they seem good. I'm hoping to get few years out of these also. I like that they have the protective cap on the toes of the boots and on the heal area also. There very soft. My only complaint would be that the soles are not replaceable

I am a commercial HVAC technician. These are slightly bulky for how much walking I do but once you're wearing them you don't even realize. They're super comfortable all day. So far they've held up with no issues.

I work in the natural gas industry. Lots of walking on uneven terrain in rural areas. These boots hold up very well and are comfortable for a 12 hour + day. I only wear Timberland Pro Boondocks now.

Far more comfortable than my old boots, however I would suggest wearing 2 pairs of socks during break in period because the rear of the opening is very stiff and prone to chafing on the back of you leg until it gets worn in. (if you wear them for 10+ hours while on your feet the entire time).

Twelve hour days as a marine electrician wear any boot. I've been brand loyal to Timberland for 15 years, and I must say these are the best build pair so far. A little heavy, excellent at tracking dirt and the hooks breaking off are my only complaints.

These boots took a little longer to break in especially around the upper part of the boot. After I had worn them for a couple of weeks they have become very comfortable.

seems like a great boot but rides up too high for my comfort.. seems much taller than your typical 6 inch boot.. fit more like an 8 inch boot

I have worn BoonDocks in the past, get two years out of them. I figured I would try the HD version, these are super tough looking. I bought the HD version because I hoped the rear portion of the sole might last a little longer then the standard version. There is a break-in period, they have some give, but not a lot. If I get two years out of these, I couldn't ask for more.

Use for manufacturing work, wear a women's 9 regular width and ordered men's regular width in size 8. Normally would order a size 7 in men's but the inches per women's 9 equalled the inches for these in size 8. They're pretty wide but manageable, took time to break them in and had to deal with sore legs for a little bit, wish they had the black color in women's regular width

I had to change the insoles to the copper fit work , they were just a bit stiff at first but with some walking that went away. The ring where the shoe laces - are not even they are staggered. I'm not sure if it part of the design.
