I love the fit and function of these slippers but they began to fail within 9 months of purchasing them. The left slipper has an area near the heel where chunks of sharp broken plastic seem to come through and end up stabbing the side of my foot or breaking off and end up on the bottom of my foot.

they look great and are well made, but uncomfortable with a crowded toe area.

My error that I did not ordered wide as my husbands feet are not normally considered wide. When I went to reorder they were out of stock. On to next year

I had purchased 2 pairs, one for my son and one for my husband. My son's slippers where perfect but my husbands were horribly sewn, so much so that one of the slippers where actually turned inward due to the stitching and they where so narrow and didn't seem like they were the size that we had purchased. It's just about quality control! So disappointed as was my husband.

My wife bought these for me for Christmas last year. She purchased a size 10 Med (I wear a 10.5 shoe size). They were immediately far too large, and fall off my heel when walking. The lining was okay when they were new, but they very quickly degraded. I'm now shopping for new slippers after just about a year of use. They're all matted with no padding left inside and the inner sole is all torn up. Absolutely not the quality I expected from an LL Bean slipper. Would not recommend. If purchasing, buy at least a size down from your shoe size. For me, perhaps a 9 would have fit better (again, my shoe size is 10.5)

No room on the toes. For a size 11 they fit like 10 1/2

These used to have a flannel lining which was much better. Not everyone likes fleece.

A little stiff. The worst part is the label right in the heel area. I had the slippers on for less than 2 minutes and they had to go back. The label right under your foot need to be moved.

These slippers are great at first, but after about a month I started finding rock-like white plastic flakes I kept stepping on, wondering where they were from. The outer is composed of a thin layer of fabric on top of a white plastic giving the structure, and after about a month of (indoor-only) wear, this started breaking down, leaving a few sharp ~1/4" white plastic chips for me to step on and discover every day. They finally seem to have slowed disintegrating after 2-3 months, though now the fabric on the insoles have also worn through and the heels and sides are now floppy and no longer have any of the structure they did when new (because it disintegrated into the white plastic chips). I still find another rock-like chip every few days, but at least they've decreased some. The sole and suede are great, and the sippers overall were great before the insides started disintegrating a month in, but these definitely aren't the LL Bean quality I expect.

It's ok but a size of 8 1/2 would be better. I have to stretch the size 8 so it fits

I take a 9 1/2 slipper, so I bought a size 10. They are way too large. I checked my old (sole worn clear through) L.L.Bean slippers I bought a few years back, and they fit fine at size 10. Now I'm told it's going to cost me $6.50 to exchange them! I have a ton of L.L.Bean stuff, mostly coats, so this is upsetting. Why should I pay for a product that clearly isn't made in the correct size? I'll probably just return them, take the $6.50 hit and shop elsewhere. VERY disappointed in L.L.Bean. And it looks like I'm not the only one complaining about these slippers being too large. Step up L.L.Bean and admit these slippers are off-size and you shouldn't penalize your customer for it!

I HAVE HAD BETTER SLIPPERS FROM LL BEAN IN THE PAST. THE PAIR THAT THESE REPLACED WERE COMFORTABLE BUT THE TREAD HAD WORN OFF AFTER WEARING THEM FOR A LOT OF YEARS (20 MAYBE?). LIMITED TO "FULL" SIZES ONLY. SIZE 10, TOO SMALL & SIZE 11 TOO BIG. WHAT'S WITH THE "LL BEAN" LOGO EMBOSSED INTO EACH SLIPPER? FEELS LIKE YOU HAVE SOME DEBRIS BETWEEN YOUR FOOT AND THE SLIPPER. BAD DECISION, LL BEAN, VERY BAD. REMEMBER, LL BEAN NOW CHARGES YOU A SHIPPING FEE FOR A RETURN. RETURNED THE SIZE 10'S FOR SIZE 11'S AND IT COST ME $6.50. ALSO INCREDIBLE DELAY DUE TO "BACK ORDER" AS WELL AS DELAY IN RECEIVING REPLACEMENT. TIME TO START LOOKING AT OTHER VENDORS.

I bought the Brown with berber lining (online). Size 10. They were LARGE I returned them to the store. They were out of size 9 in the store. I opted for the blue perforated, grudgingly. I got them home before I realized the lining is fabric, not berber. Also, the upper is fabric, not leather as I think the brown is.. There is also a foot bed insert in these. My big toe is tight on the top of the slipper. I have been wearing them about 3 weeks hoping they would feel better by now.

Purchased a pair of these Men's Mountain Slippers in September, 2018. I mostly wear these slippers in my house. As for fit, they are a little bit loose. The upper covering of the right slipper by the inside heel and around the opening began to show wear in about 6-8 months. What caused the wear is unknown to me. The left slipper didn't show the same wear. Since the wear on the right slipper is on the left side of the heel above the sole and also around the top heel opening, I doubt it was from rubbing on something. The soles of the slippers are still good and protect against slipping on wet surfaces. However, the upper material failed on the right slipper in less than a year. So, I don't recommend these slippers. Slippers used mostly in the house shouldn't show signs of upper material wear so soon, especially on the side of the heel and around the slipper opening.

On first appearance shoes look nice. However, once on it was found that the left shoe is little wider across the top, higher on the heel, and stitching is not as nice as on the right shoe. The right shoe fits better and is more comfortable. They look like they were made by different people and not well matched. The sole is great and gives a good grip on varied surfaces. I expect these to be very durable as it is built to last. I am just disappointed that the left shoe isn't like the right shoe. Uniformity should be there for a product at the price.

Received these for Christmas and I wanted to love them but the fit on each foot was different. The left shoe felt comfortable in length but the shoe seem too wide. The right shoe felt slightly smaller and the width was tight on the toes. The material and style was what I had wanted but I couldn't get them to fell comfortable, especially the right foot.

I've bought many a pair of these in the past, but this time when I received them, they smelled of mold and mildew. It was the usually new slipper smell I've bought in the past.

I purchased these slippers for my husband for Christmas. He said they would have been perfect (good fit, sturdy, warm) except for the hard leather label sewn into the heel that makes them unwearable. Back to the store they go.

I ordered these for my husband in December, who has neuropathy. They were on backorder until February. When they finally arrived they were uncomfortable and he sent them back. They looked like a hardy slipper but my husband's feet are too sensitive.

I have had the same shoe size my entire adult life. I ordered these because of favorable reviews. Since there are no half sizes, I ordered the next "up" size. I always wear socks in shoes and slippers (socks absorb sweat and can be washed), otherwise they stink after awhile and have to be discarded (waste of money). With these slippers, my big toe hits the front, they are tight in width, and they're a half size bigger than my shoe size. Without socks they are a better fit. I'll keep them (too much of a hassle to send them back. And the next size up would be too large), because the insole is removable and I can wear them without socks, then replace the insole with Odor Eaters.

Ordered on April 30th. Wore every morning after i got out bed, and every evening before bedtime. Always indoors, no physical activity. Today, I see there's already a hole near the toe in the right slipper. And it's not like I have daggers for toenails, my wife insists I keep them trimmed.

I have numerous issues with these slippers. After only a couple months of use, they are coming apart at the sides. The traction is poor and it's dangerous to walk on wet surfaces. And the fit is poor, as half sizes are not available. I bought this instead of the Acorn mocs I had been using as I had hoped for something higher quality that would last longer but I got the opposite. Very disappointed.
