The size chart shows I should take an 11D, but I found these so long that my heel kept slipping out of the back. Couldn't keep them on. They're well enough made, but the advice to size up if you're a half size is bad advice. I'll be returning them and shopping elsewhere.

The comfort is average. It could use better insole. The insole seems thin. I can feel the inside of the sole. A thicker more padded insole would give better comfort. The same or better comfort can be had at a better price.

how vain are you ? your logo is on these slippers 3 times, really .there is a logo in the slipper on the heal it is annoying and has to be covered up bare footed size 8 which has no bearing on my issue

I purchased my regular size but these slippers are kind of loose on my foot. I feel the length is fine, just not made to be very fitted it seems. The soles are great for going out in the morning to let the chickens out or put out the trash...fairly rugged. But if you're looking for a cozy slipper, these are not. I kept them and wear with some heavier socks. They'll probably last forever....

This is my second pair and the same issue as before, the insole wore out while the rest of the slipper is near perfect. If the insole is removable why not sell some replacements. I know I was told to go to the drug store and buy a replacement insole, well a good set of those run $30-$40. That is half the cost of a new pair of slippers. Love the slipper but not the insole. Will be looking for a slipper that will hold up better and made in the USA.

I always order slippers to fit comfortably, but I literally walked out of these, in my usual size. Stick to the Perforated slippers; they fit well.

I owned a pair of these in a size 12 and they fit perfect, maybe even a bit big which is great for slippers. Unfortunately my puppy found them and chewed them apart completely. I loved the slippers so I decided to buy the same ones again. I'm not sure what happened, but I ordered the same size 12, I double checked the size, and they were too small. I returned them and got a whole size larger a 13. They are too small as well. I'm not going to go through another return and get a pair that are 2 sizes larger than my normal size. So I will be buying slippers somewhere else.

About 3 months ago ordered 3 LL Bean shoes and they are great. Ordered the same size on the slipper and they are way small.

I'm always a little hesitant to review something that I only owned for a couple of weeks. My new LL Bean slippers seem to be well made. They were very comfortable right out of the box but I hope they'll break in soon. My last pair of LL Bean moc slippers were super comfortable and lasted for years. This purchase I wanted slippers without rawhide laces that don't stay tied. If the new ones become more comfortable and last a few years I'll be very happy with them.

I got these for my husband for Christmas and he wishes they came in wide width because they're way too narrow. Otherwise the quality is great but sadly need to return since they don't fit right.

I am a slipper connoisseur and I desperately wanted to love these. I tried every slipper Bean makes and they all have one key issue: they are too wide! And they do not come in narrow sizes. I love their boots and can find a fit. But slippers, which I wear with and without socks, are tricky. I usually get one size smaller and get them lined. These were right on size for length - and maybe a wee bit tight (though wear usually stretches that out), but the width just made them too loose for me. If you wear them occasionally coming home and banging about, they'd likely be fine. But for me, who wears this kind of shoe to do all kinds of things around the house (they are 'house' shoes) and out into the great wide world, these just are too loose. LL Bean, make these in a narrower fit and I'll be back.

This story is a bit long, bear with me. I typically wear a 13W. About 2 years ago, I bought a pair of these on a great sale. Figuring the suede leather would stretch a bit, I ordered 12s. At first, they fit well and I was pretty happy but, within a few months, they had stretched to the point it was a struggle to keep them on my feet. Recently, I noticed that the lining was beginning to tear. I contacted LL Bean and was going to return them but I also found a new sale on the same shoes and so I tried ordering a size 11 to accommodate the future stretching. The 11s were too small for me to wear at all and I've returned them. I haven't returned the original pair because it may cost $6.50 and I really don't have any options if they were replaced, since the 12s stretched out and the 11s were too small to begin with. I since have purchased a similar product by another maker which seems to be working out so far.

These slippers are well built but they just weren't comfortable. I have returned them and will get a pair of the hand sewn moccasins. My first pair of moccasins lasted over ten years and are very comfortable but the sole lost its traction.

I love the look and feel of these slippers, but they smell like mildew or chemicals...something strong and very unpleasant. The first pair I purchased was too big, and I was glad to exchange them, as I thought that perhaps the smell was specific to that pair. However, the replacement is also smelly. I believe it has something to do with the way the leather was processed. My wife is bothered by the smell, also. I've let them air outside for several days, and they still stink. I don't know if others have experienced this issue. If you struggle with migraines or are otherwise sensitive to strong smells, I would suggest choosing a different option. I've been buying LL Bean merchandise for 30 years and have never had an issue before. This is kind of strange and disappointing.

very well constructed shoe. Great for wearing outside the house and inside the house but in bare feet they are not very cozy and kind of hard inside. Not enough fur lining inside. Nothing like bean slipper. But again if you want an inside and outside slipper these are good. Look stylish.

A well made slippers for almost anything, BUT... not for me. I wear white sport socks around the house, through out the year as my floor tends to be cold/cool for bare footing around. This slippers is ONLY for people who don't wear socks as it is way way too narrow and rather HOT for a guy like me who wears thick/heavy socks. I tried wearing it without sock and OMG! too hot and sweaty. Sadly I returned it.

I wear 12 D shoe. I ordered 12 medium. Length is closer to size 11 and width closer to size EE. In otherwords, too wide and too short. Slide off heal and jam toe. Do not recommend.
