I first bought these slippers when they were not available in the women's shoes. I got a seven and while they are a bit big I wear then with socks. The flannel lining isn't very strong but they are comfortable with a padded instep that supports my arch. There is now a flannel lined shoe for women and it was too small in the toe box and much to wide everywhere else so I bought another pair of the men's shoes to put away. You never know when a really good product will disappear and these are hand sewn.

I've been purchasing these slippers for my husband for years. The last 2 pair I bought were smaller than previously and I returned them for the next larger size. However, the second pair, both size 12, had one pair closer to the 11 size and the other larger. So sizing seems to vary now. The quality of the materials and construction is still great, but something about the assembly process has changed. Kind of disappointed and probably won't order again. Customer service is great, however...no problems there.

These are good quality but run on the narrow side. Since they are leather we are hoping they stretch out a little. Very well made otherwise.

Good fit, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Have been using these for years. No reason to change.

I bought these slippers about 10 months ago, and have only worn them maybe 30 times indoors. They seem to be well made, but my feet still get cold in them even with socks on. This isnt much of a complaint though, as they are very comfortable. I wear a size 13 in Nike's and originally ordered a 13 in these- they were very large- sent them back and got a size 12.

The slipper, similar to all of the slippers that I have purchased from LL Bean in prior years is well made and comfortable, I was disappointed in the color of the slipper that I received. The actual color of the slipper that I received was dark brown, and it matches the pictured brown color shown. I slelected the Acorn color based upon the catalog and Internet pictures. The packing slip stated the Acorn color. The pictured Acorn color in both the catalog and Internet is lighter than the pictured brown color. Either the color names are mismatched with the slipper pictures shown or the picture of the lighter-colored slipper is incorrect.

I love these slippers. Very affordable and well constructed. I am now on my 4th pair. My only gripe is that the flannel sole liner gives up in about a year to a year and a half. I'll suffer.

Good slipper for the price. A little too warm for the summer but I will enjoy wearing them the rest of the year.

I have been wearing this type of slipper for four years now. I get a new pair every Christmas. I love these slippers but, have a couple of complaints. 1. The shoe laces do not stay tied so I am forever having to tie them. You would think that there would be a permanent way for them to have the bow and have it maybe stitched so it stay. On an occasion or two, I ended up just cutting the lace off. 2. The width is not constant. I have wide feet and have gotten accustomed to shoes being a little snug sometime. The first pair of these I received fit perfectly comfortable in the width but the following year, they were to snug and had to cut some of the thread in the instep in order to be comfortable. This year they were perfect.

I had these for about 6 years now. I didn't use them much until these past 2 years of now having to pay my own heating bill. They are warm and fit well however the inside liners do wear out fast. I am not running marathons with them, just inside use only and I have managed to totally wear the spot where the "ball" of my feet are. I am going to try the other model of these with the fleece liner and see if they are any difference. Other than the easy wear and tear these are awesome, warm, and very comfortable slippers.

I bought these about 14 months ago. I wear them year-round. They are comfortable and true to size. The flannel has worn away, but that's understandable. I've owned them over a year and they're reasonably priced. The squishy material behind the flannel is still intact. They still feel great. The outsides of the slippers show no wear. I've caught the right outside toe on the sharp corner of a filing cabinet multiple times and they have not torn. Unlike my other slippers (faux-fleece?), these do not smell bad. Would recommend.

So, I've had several pairs of llbean's hand sewn slippers and I love them. I know these are a popular Christmas item so I ordered 3 pairs for gifts in October, 2 for my sons and 1 for me. I wound up giving my pair to my son in law and got online to try to order another pair ( I like the suede fleece lined). The only issue I had was that most of the styles were sold out. I understand that, but the back order date was mid April! Anyway I was a little disappointed, but the leather, flannel lined are still great quality. I would recommend them. To Llbean, I'm sure you always sell out of my these at Christmas. Maybe order a few more, especially in the more common sizes.

I bought a pair for my husband 2 or 3 years ago in a size 10 and they were a perfect fit. He wore those out so I got him a new pair this year for Christmas and ordered a size 10. They didn't fit the same - too large - we ordered a 9 1/2 and those were too tight. So either the sizing has changed or my husband's feet are shrinking!! He ended up keeping the size 10 but if they stretch much we'll be returning them. That's too bad because he loved these slippers.

I read some of the reviews from previous customers who mentioned these slippers being narrow in the toe box. That would be my only negative comment for an otherwise outstanding product. I love these slippers, they are extremely well made and I expect them to last for many years.

This is the second pair of these house shoes that we purchased. They have the extra width that is needed and they last a long time. They are very nice looking.

The toes are a bit tight, but I think they will stretch out. Otherwise, very comfortable and a great alternative if you don't like fleece lined slippers.

I only got this because you no longer carry my favorite ( Others will agree). I really wanted the moosehide slippers I bought previously that last long & wear well. Also. your slippers , like many other items, are from overseas, not the U.S.A. Not complaining because your products are great. The men's jeans I get often wear too easily in the knees, etc. Offer U.S.A. jeans for those who might pay more ! Still a loyal customer but, wish your products were more form the U.S. A. People would pay extra, if need-be, for them !!! Your operators on the phone are the best of any company. Many other companies operators need a lot to be desired. I know, because I worked for & retired from Verizon Communications.

The seams looked very nice, no complaints on that. However they do seem to run small. Other reviews state it ran large. Bought a 12, usually my husband wears a 12 in slippers. This one would have have to be bought in a 13 to fit.

Comfortable and warm without making my feet feel hot or sweaty. Although my shoe size is 9.5, I had to return a size 10 for a size 11 to get the right fit for me.

than the wicked moc slippers. i know it sounds crazy, but i find the fleece to be too much maintenance. these i can throw on over socks, bare feet, whatever and it 's just clean, soft flannel. the leather is also sturdy and softens up nicely after a week or two and begins to mold around the shape of your foot. great slippers, especially for the price. only complaint would be about the sole stitching, it seems to fray on the heel, it is a vulcanized crepe sole, so it is just redundant stitch. it looks bad when its frayed like that - but it does not seem to affect the integrity of the heel.

Too narrow - more like B instead of D. Bean should offer these in wider widths.

Very nice quality leather slipper. I would say runs a little on the large size. I wear a solid size 12 in shoes (which are sometimes tight) and in slippers and moccasins I always have to purchase a size 13 or they are way too tight. I started with a size 13 in this slipper (per my usual experience) but it was extremely large and I had to exchange it for a size 12 (my regular shoe size), and that fits quite well and even has that proper toe wiggle room.
