This is a great slipper. It would make a great shoe if it had a sturdier sole. I bought the same slipper before & the only problem was that the soft rubber sole wore out. The upper part of the slipper is good as new.

Well made slipper. But, larger than expected. Needed 11.5, I thought, so, I ordered a 12--actually need an 11.

This is our 2nd pair of these and my husband requested them for Christmas. I only wish they came in bigger sizes, he normally wears a 12, but needs these in a 13 to wear with socks. My son has an even bigger foot so I can't buy them for him. Otherwise he loves them, and wears them all the time around the house and yard.

Received these slippers for Christmas. They are extremely comfortable and do not make my feet sweat. I would reccomend them.

I bought these slippers for my boyfriend for Christmas. It is now a month later and don't think he's taken them off! He wears them inside and out. He mentioned they are even good on ice and snow, they have good traction. They look good as well, not like your grandfathers slippers!

These slippers are awesome. Slippers I've had in the past have overheated my feet so I was constantly removing and putting back on. These slippers are very comfortable and keep my feet at a comfortable temp. Another quality LL Bean product.

I have so enjoyed and appreciated these slippers that I purchased pairs for my father and brother. I often run into wearing and loss of the insole on slippers of lesser quality but equal price. Very warm, even without socks. The outsole is great, I can walk outside without having any wetness, and inside without scrathing my wood floors. Great purchase and worthwhile for years to come!

excellant, excellant value. fit is terrific. husband loves the soles for inside and outside. we have found our slippers for life. would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfortable leather fannel lined slippers.

These slippers are great!! I would size down though. I wear an 8 1/2. I ordered a 9 amd they are a little big, but they are just slippers. They are very comfertable and keep your feet nice and toastly warm.

I buy my son-in-law a pair of the hand sewn slippers at Christmas every year now. I had originally purchased them beause they were affordable. I did not purchase them one year, it was then that my son-in-law let me know how much he loved them, and was disappointed that I had not bought them as a gift for him. They are comforatable, very durable, and look nice. He needs a new pair every year because he wears them everywhere. I now get a pair for him and my son every year. They are the greatest!

I bought a pair of these for my husband last year - he wore them constantly and asked for an additional pair this year, so I bought them. He likes that they are very comfortable and can be worn outside without worry.

These are just what I had hoped for. Warm and comfortable yet great for going out to pick up the mail or take out the garbage. Love em'

These slippers are wonderful and they are second pair I have ordered for my husband. He wears them all the time and wanted another pair to replace the ones he's had for over three years. He says they are the most comfortable slippers he's ever owned. They're not only very well made but sturdy and comfortable. You can't go wrong with these and we both highly recommend them.

For a person who likes boat shoes these slippers are perfect. Can be worn outdoors. Comfortable as a slipper but has the look of a shoe.

These are very comfortable slippers, warm and cozy and not all that expensive. I bought a pair for my husband several Christmases ago and he loved them. Now he wants another pair for spare this Christmas.

As these are Christmas presents for husband and son it's not easy to write this except to say that these are the slippers that they have both worn, it seems like, forever. They wear well and are obviously very comfortable. They both prefer the flannel lined to the other choices.

This is the second pair I've bought for my husband. He absolutely loves them. So does Shadow, our female feline, who exercises her claws on them. I'll probably be ordering a third pair before 2009 is out.

I gave my brother a pair of these slippers 3 years ago. Each Christmas I purchase another pair for him as he really likes them...he even wears them to do light errands! This year I purchased two pair for him, a flannel lined pair and a fleece lined pair....they wear very well

First time I had ordered from LL BEAN.Slippers seem very well made but I've been wearing them for over a week now waiting for them to stretch and conform a little but so far their not moving. I ordered the medium which is supposed to be for a size 8 to 9. I take a size 8 1/2 shoe so I figured that would be right. Hope they stretch a little or I'm stuck with them
