I gave myself this pair of house shoes as a Christmas gift long overdue. I had known LL Bean quality in moccasins from long ago. But for some reason, never replaced them. Length sizing is spot on. I chose a narrow width though I have a medium with foot. I knew they would contour to my feet and now in early February, they are my favorite shoe. I live in an old house. Wide Plank floors. Nail pops. Wood heat. It's always a little cool and dangerous down there. I wear them all the time inside. And once in a while outside. Design is perfect. Craftsmanship with the uppers and lowers both sewn, will last a long long time. They look great and feel great. Ask me in five years how well the lining has held up. It looks solid enough, and I wear socks with these Mocs, To keep the foot oil saturation minimized.

Bought these for a gift. They were very pleased with them and said they are very comfortable.

These are pretty nice slippers. Mine has the flannel lining. This makes them a bit easier to slip on, yet once on, the flannel keeps them in place. The flannel is also warmer than I expected. The leather is gorgeous. It's supple, and workmanship of the seams is flawless. The color is a rich brown. There has been no need to break them in, though I did put an application of mink oil, which just burnished the rich look of the leather. Fit is true to size. My only question is the sole. First, the sole works great outside. I wear the slippers outside to put out the trash, get something from the garage, even for a short trip on the car. Works great. And for me, the rubber sole is far better than the leather sole version. The rubber sole has better traction, is not slippery on hard floors, and can deal with an occasional trip outdoors. My only carp is that, being thin, there is not much cushioning underfoot on hard surfaces. Lastly, my cat thinks the leather thong used to snug up the slipper is the greatest thing in the world. The thong's leather is delightfully chewy, dents from her teeth fade nicely, she can get a good grip on it to undo the lace tie, and if I make the mistake of walking around with an untied thong, it is perfect for pouncing as my foot goes by. So, the slipper is warm, fits well, is very well made, has top quality materials, and is cat approved. Maybe a spongier sole could be used. They should last a long, long time. Very pleased.

My husband's favorite slippers, he wore out the last pair. The flannel lining isn't too warm for him, they are perfect.

I have worn several pairs of these slippers over the last maybe 20 years. Price seems to be about the same. The creap sole never seems to wear out, and the outer leather stays soft. Lining does wear out eventually, but put on socks and all is good again. These are my Put on when I come home, wear out in the yard if in a rush foot things. A hintthe buckskin laces are hard to keep tied so I finally figured out a solution. Wear them a bit to get them comfy. Then tie a really TIGHT knot like when to tie your tennis shoes. Pull it even tighter. Now a few discrete drops of the thin super glue and the knot will stay tight for a year or more. If it lets go repeat and glue again. I have even replaced the old laces with new ones on older pairs. The will last a long time!.

Got these for my husband for Christmas, he loves them! They are sturdy and made from quality materials. There's a bit of a cushion in the sole and he really likes how the bottom is rubber.
