I have bought Fromm L L Bean for years, because of the high quality of their products and their longevity!

For many decades I was a faithful purchaser of LL Bean's Allagash Chukka boots. I got them in every color and finish. I had to. I have a childhood disease that weakened an ankle that requires a high-top shoe to enable me to walk properly. As a very tall guy I also have a big foot print -- a size 14 EE. The Allagash met all these requirements, plus being very comfortable (never needed a "break-in period" when new --I just put'em on and wore them for days at a time.). Easy to keep clean and care for, they also looked attractive at the office or at social functions or at leisure gatherings. Alas, they are no longer made. But LLB came thru with these Stonington Moc-toe boots in a size 14 EE and they are also VERY comfortable right out of the box. I won't be wearing them to weddings, but in today's more leisure dress standard living they are very good looking and trendy ,and still affordable too. Love these boots!

Exactly what I was looking for...............lightweight, tough, and stylish.

They should market these as gender neutral. I am a female and ordered two sizes down (I'm a 6.5/7 and I ordered a 5) and they fit me perfectly and will definitely be a staple this season. I love them!

These boots are amazing and incredibly comfortable

I love these boots. They ran really large so beware if ordering online. I ordered online and had to return them to a local Bean store and went down TWO sizes. Once I got the proper fit sorted out they are great. Really comfortable and sturdy lightweight boot that's waterproof. Just what I was looking for.

Quality leather, quality construction, true to size with a good fit. I've only worn them for a few days, but they're comfortable and look good. Longevity is yet to be determined. The only thing I would like to see change is a more square toe would be nice.

Comfortable for hiking and working around the yard. I wear a women's 9.52E in Brooks tennis shoes. I used the Find My Size option and then called Customer Service before ordering the size 8M that was suggested but exchanged them for the size 8W because they were too tight at the bottom of the lacing. I do have a high instep and the seam across the base of my toes was causing my toes to feel like they were falling asleep at times and I was wearing thin socks. The wider width allows me to wear a heavier pair of socks without this issue.

I bought these as stylish alternative to my rough and tough site visit boots. They look great and are extremely comfortable. I would compare them to wearing sneakers but obviously in a boot. I would definitely recommend getting these to anyone who asked. I actually might get another pair to wear as a dress down casual pair for fall/winter time.

this is the second pair of these boots that i have, that should show my satisfaction. extremely comfortable right out of the box.

I was looking for a boot my husband could wear when he mows the lawn. His old boots had worn out, and he was having trouble finding a new boot that fit his wide feet. We were in L.L. Bean looking around when I spotted the Stonington Boot, and after trying on a few sizes, my husband found a pair that fit perfectly. He has since worn them twice to mow the lawn, and they fit the bill nicely.

I have owned a pair of these boots over a year now and they are still going strong. These boots are not only durable but are really comfortable from the moment you put them on. Thanks to the ladies and gentlemen of Bean for awesome products. Oh, a little off topic, but my dad wears the flannel blue jeans to work in and has been wearing them probably 20 years or more.

This is a very comfortable boot for work. Lighter than a steel toed boot, but still pretty sturdy. it seemed a little small to size, but may be the socks I choose to work in. A half size larger than I normally wear fit more comfortably.

These.boots are very comfortable in the tall and short version also.

I purchased these for my son, he said they are comfortable. He has a small foot and I was able to get him 5 1/2 which worked perfect, he normally wears a 6.
