The outer ribbing on the sole delaminated and tore off. I would recommend not buying these shoes.

Fit is the same as my Air Monarchs. I wear a 10.5 wide.Took a 2 mile walk when I first got them and that's all it took to break them in. These are not water resistant. A few steps in ankle deep snow and my feet were damp. I gave them a water repellent treatment and all is good. Very comfortable and the best value in a moc toe in my opinion. I highly recommend these.

This boot is in the exact right size for my husband's foot. It is hard to find a men's size 7 in a wide. It fits him perfectly, and he wears them every day to work. They also look great! I'm a fan. I hope you don't ever discontinue them.

I essentially wear a size 12.5, and my feet are a little wide, so it's difficult to find shoes that fit properly. These slid on perfect, and are very comfortable! The craftsmanship is excellent, and the leather is nice, as well. Would buy again.

We got these for my husband. We have a ranch and his boots take a serious beating and so do his feet. He had been complaining about how much his feet hurt and how difficult that made walking when the LL Bean catalog came. I flipped open to the page of men's boots and saw these. I have had excellent experiences with everything I've ever purchased from Bean, including women's boots, and urged him to get these. He had to wait a few weeks to get them because they were backordered (he wears a size 10-1/2). Still, they came sooner than expected. He took them out of the box, put them on and went out to do chores. Voila, no more complaints. He wears the boots all day every day and they barely show any wear.

When I ordered, this boot was on backorder which I didn't mind. It makes sense though: one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They feel like sneakers. Not at all surprised they're popular. They actually were delivered a few weeks earlier than expected which I appreciate.

Got these boots to replace my Katahdin boots from a couple years ago. I work in a shop with reinforced concrete floors and it isn't uncommon to be standing and walking around for 12 hours a day. The sole on these boots are perfect for this. The outer section provides traction and the dense foam like center makes them comfortable all day long. After a month of everyday use they've seen rain, mud, snow and general dust from around the shop. They hold up well and stay dry. Because they don't have too deep of treads they clean up easy as well Highly recommend over a solid rubber sole if standing on concrete all day. Your feet will thank you!

I own MANY pairs of boots and these became my favorite the moment I put them on. I saw reviews about sizing issues and stiffness. Online L.L.Bean indicates to order usual size, which I did (10.5) and the fit is perfect. Also out of the box already felt broken in. They are already an old friend I wear everyday. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a well made and comfortable boot that is true to size. I normally wear a 9 1/2 wide so that is what I ordered and the fit was perfect. I wore these on a three day trip to NYC and walked a total of 18 miles with no issues. One minor criticism, the product description should note that the inner soles can be changed, that is an important feature for me.

Good solid boot. Fits well. Holds up well in snow and slush.

Bought these for a 2+ week trip to Japan. Walked 15,000+ steps a day through city, snow, and everything else - they held up well and were very comfortable. The leather still looks good and cleans well after walking in feet of powder! They never got wet at all and my feet didn't get hot in them. For sizing, I normally wear a 12.5 and I guess I have a slightly wider foot... other reviews said to size down, but this was mistake - I should have sized up! They don't stretch out at all, but stay true to their original size and shape. I didn't have enough time to swap them and it was fine, but I would have sized up to a 13 or a 12 for sure.

These boots are great! There's plenty of room for your toes and the insulation inside is excellent. I've worn mine outside when it's below zero and my feet stayed warm and dry. They are also fairly lightweight and the sole has good traction but doesn't hold dirt. Highly recommended. When I wear these out, I will definitely buy another pair (please keep making them, L.L.Bean!)

Well made light weight boot thats very comfortable. It can be dressed up, as well.

These boots are absolutely beautiful. I purchased these as a gift for my grandchild. The black leather is so rich looking! They are wonderfully made! So happy with them!!!

Perfect fit, look great, excellent quality, the insole is probably the best non aftermarket insole I have seen in a shoe.
