Great hiking shoes. Waterproof from walking through dew laden grass and low level streams. Very comfortable! Warm as well.

Took a couple weeks of light hiking (mile or two every other day) to break-in my 7.5 EEs to my 7.5 EEE feet, but one month in they are almost as comfortable as sneakers!

Extremely durable and comfortable. I recently purchased these boots and wore them every day during a 10-day international trip walking/hiking in harsh summer weather conditions. My feet stayed dry and they never hurt. I definitely recommend breaking them in prior to any long walks/hikes.

Purchased two different well known brands of boots with the intention of returning one. Needless to say the L.L. Bean stayed and the competitor got sent back. Fit, feel and look were better than expected. The boot feels like I high end running shoe. Going to be great for working around the property and walks to the treestand.

Needed boots to go on vacation. These look to be the perfect ones!

I bought these for my husband to wear in the summer while he works on our farm. He loves them. Very comfortable and rugged.

This is my second pair. I wore these every day during a trip to South Africa over all terrains and they still look good enough to wear out socially. Also comfortable.

Awesome all purpose all season boot! My first pair was so durable and comfortable I needed another pair. As long as I'm walking and this boot is still available I will have a pair!

This is the second pair of Stonington Boots I have bought from LLBean and they are great! They fit right and are very comfortable to wear and work in. The sole is soft and will not mark a floor or boat deck. I have worn these boots every day except for heavy rain days and they have lasted for almost 2 years before I bought another pair exactly like the first pair.

Very comfortable, light, quiet, more like a sneaker. Well built and sturdy. Seems to run 1/2 size larger- I am comfortable in 8 1/2, I'm usually a 9.

I purchased this boot in black about 2 months ago. I really like the fit, the construction, and the look of the boot. The only thing that I suggest is to replace the insole with a better insole. I have a go to insole and it really made a big difference

Nice thick tongue and rope laces make for easy on and off. I tried them with a variety of socks; from regular crew to ultra-thick ski socks. They were most comfortable with heavyweight work socks. I would definitely buy these bad boys again!

Quality was better than I expected . These boots were comfortable and fit very well as soon as I put them on. I've been in snow and wet winter weather and my feet stay warm and dry! I would buy them again.

How to send the shoe back it did not fit right but it was a great shoe and I liked it wish I could have kept it

Very good boot and works well for me after I upgraded the insole to an orthotic which took up some room. Being a narrow foot, I have a difficult time finding shoes to fit properly. Bean only has a few shoes available in Mens Narrow. While the heel in this is a bit wider than I like, being a mid lace up it stays on my size 14 foot well enough.

Very nice and allegedly comfortable right out of the box. Purchased as a gift.

Very comfortable and can be used as a boat shoe. Sole is soft and has no grooves to track debris into house or boat. Good choice for comfort on concrete or other hard floors. But this is not a good choice where mud, snow and sharp rocks are abundant and maximum traction and under foot protection is expected.

Best workbook to walk the sites and the office. Super cumfy and look fab.

In brief, these boots are outstanding in looks and comfort. You just can't beat the classic look of these boots. Also, I was very surprised at how comfortable they are. These boots feel more like high top sneakers as far as comfort goes, and I have worn them all day and have walked miles wearing these boots without any pain or suffering.

They were a Christmas gift for my Son! He was so excited and put them on, and couldn't get over how light they were! He said it was like walking on air!
