I bought a pair of Stonington Boots for my husband in November 2020. They were not this exact style, but had the exact soles that these do. He wore them for 6 months max. When he put them on in Dec. 2021, they leaked. I tried to get LLBean to help, but because I purchased them llllone month over the guarantee time, they refused to give me a replacement or even credit. These boots are made of cheap materials and the soles did wear out in 6 months. He did not wear them in the summer. Their customer service was poor also. L L Bean is not what it used to be.

These are NOT real work boots, they fell apary after only a few days of work. Stitching came apart all around the "moc toe" design - waste of money.....

Good quality leather, however these boots are not easy to put on or take off. Strategically only wear these boots when you wont be needing to take them off during the day

Boots came apart at the heel after the 3rd wear. Also, this is a medium comfort boot, not worth the money.

Rubber perimeter outsole came off within a month of purchase.
I don't recommend buying this type of shoes.

Loved the look and feel of the boot but unfortunately after 2 months of wear the rubber sole began to come apart at the toe, exactly the same as another customer who wrote a review. There is a recurring problem here with these boots. LOVE L.L. Bean and I'm sure they will correct this issue.

After 4 weeks of normal wear the seams at the side and top near the lace area on both sides where you flex started to come apart. Very unusual and disappointing because otherwise the shoe is perfect. Extremely comfortable and warm. Will return for refund.
