I am a female that wears a size 8 narrow. Size 6 fits perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box with a mid-weight sock. Love the color and the contrasting stitching.

These boots have become my favorite most comfortable boots. I've been a Red Wings guy but these boots are so nice and the soles are easy on my back.

Had to order half size smaller than normal. Comfortable shoe. So far I really like them can wear all day if needed. Takes a bit too long for shipping as compared to others but satisfied. Would buy again for sure

True to size and comfortable right out of the box. Will be even better when they fully break in.

Very comfortable and lightweight boot. Good construction and mild color bleed onto socks from inner shoe. Fits true to LL Bean standards, thus a bit roomy, which is welcome for hiking/winter socks. Very pleased with quality and a very fair price. Highly recommend.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He really likes them. He was especially impressed with how light they are. He started wearing them that day. He tried them on with thick socks and regular socks and said they fit well. They're nice looking quality boots. I'm glad I bought them.

Great boots - recommend ordering size down. I ordered my usual size 13 and they were huge easy return for size 12 which is still roomy. Love the quality and most importantly the comfort.

Finally broke down and bought these and guys they are the best for work and going out.I usually wear a 9 but ordered the 8 1/2 cause of reviews saying they stretch.Could not be happier and should have ordered 2 pair.

The leather was soft with minimal break in time. Awesome!

I wanted a rugged pair of boots for our rainy NW winters. I am crazy about these boots! They are rugged and sturdy yet lightweight. From the first moment I put them on they were incredibly comfortable and only got more so as the day went on. I am a woman's 8-8.5 med width on the narrow side. I ordered the men's 6 and they are perfect. I got so many compliments from other women young and old while out and about. They are the most comfortable shoes I have purchased in at least 20 years! I highly recommend, I love them!

I've had these for a few days, and for now, they get 5 stars on both comfort and customer service. I tried them on in-store and THOUGHT the 9 1/2 was a fit. However, they quickly stretched out within a couple hours of the first wearing, and the folks at the LL Bean store in Madison, WI were nice enough to let me exchange them for the next size down without any fuss. I tend to have a hard time finding a boot that fits, due to having narrow feet, but these seem to fit me well. They're not overly narrow, but my feet don't slop around in them like some other brands out there. Time will tell, but so far, they seem comfy and get good traction in the rain. The construction seems solid, and I like that they have the rubber sole over the crepe sole, so traction is far superior to the standard crepe sole mock boot from other manufacturers.

Bought these for my son, he loves the comfort and looks. He wears them for work and for going out with friends. So far they have held up with no issues - great quality.

Love this boot! Took out of the box, immediately laced them up and ended up wearing them all day. No break in period. Crazy comfortable the moment I put them on. Highly recommend. I will always have a pair of these boots from now on.

Comfortable from the start, great support and exceptionally lightweight. A solid boot.

When I say forgiving, I mean I took a chance on the medium width with my wide, high arch, tough-to-fit gnarly old busted up sensitive feet, guess what? Success beyond my expectations. After 30 years in search of that "ultimate" pair of all around foot protection in my landscape business, these are the ones. Absolutely the best footwear purchase I have ever made! Furthermore, they're great looking during casual wear. Good thing 'cause I never want to take 'em off!.

True to size. Light weight, comfortable, waterproof as advertised (wore them while powerwashing the house). Have given them a good workout over several weeks of yard and garden work. Durability is yet to be determined.
