My husband from Boston wanted me to get a black one as it is my color and also it is not traditional tote of L.L.Bean, a bit different.

Bought this bag for MY baseball mom gear. It's incredibly generous in size and perfect for all things that make me feel prepared and comfortable (sweatshirt, blanket, water bottle, first aid kit, mom snacks and glam) with plenty of room to spare! I bought it in Large Zip Top, Black with recommended color for initial (my first initial) lettering.

Beautiful and extremely well made. I already had one of the totes, but in larger size with no zipper, so wanted this smaller one with zipper. Also love the color and the monogram!

Thought this large-size bag would be too big for my daily elementary teaching materials, but it's great! the zipper top protects papers when there's light rain, and the outside pocket is a huge convenience for different keys.

I keep several LL Bean tote bags in my car and home. They're so handy for transporting groceries, art supplies, laundry or anything heavy. With just occasional cleaning they look great for years. I highly recommend them.

As usual, excellent value and quality. It is nice to have the option of a navy bag now.

Finally a tote with enough room to take to the "Y" all my lap swim necessities! Cap, goggles, towel, soap, shampoo , conditioner, and change of clothes! It is not too heavy, but it is made of strong fabric that repels water. Love it!

Perfect size for a weekend escape. This is my go to gift for every occasion. Filled with a few summer weekend items - snacks, sunscreen, swim trunks for summer birthday or if a baby shower, filled with baby books, onesies and toys. High school graduation and off to university: filled with school supplies/dorm essentials- laundry soap, quarters, thank you notes with stamps.

Love the sturdy.... and the pocket. Having the outside "grab-quick" location for just the small items you need is most helpful.

I missed the fully Natural ones, but I did get the Natural/Blue combo. Glad I went for a classic.

I love this bag! It's huge and I can see and get what I need inside it. I take it to the YMCA for water classes and it's water repellent which is a big plus. It could have an inside pocket and slightly longer handles, but overall, it's a bag that will last forever.

This bag never fails. Have been buying them for years, either because we needed a different size or extra one, OR, as with this one: a gift (this one: high school graduation!). These bags never wear out: strong and durable. Can be put in your clothes washer when needed.

This is my second purchase because I love this tote so much, I wanted to try it in the warm gold color. It's so sturdy and well made. I prefer the short handles and is the one reason I went with the Boat & Tote in the first place. The inside flaps can come out, making it taller so you can carry a lot of things if you need to transport something larger. The top zipper is handy for travel and the tote can fit under an airplane seat instead of the overhead bin. And you can still fit a lot of stuff in it. The material is thick and stitching is superb!! Very rugged. Outside pocket is handy for phone storage, easy access. I keep a small compact mirror, lipstick, and a pen in mine.
