These are great for casual wear and low keyed hiking. I need to wear a heavier sock with them because they are wider than my other shoes of same size. I love the suede, it's high quality.

Takes me back to my youth when these were my very favorite shoes to wear! Sturdy and comfortable then and now. Glad I saw them and have them again to wear.

I have always wanted this style of boot. The were quite popular in the 70's and 80's and I thought they would go well with jeans. After they went out of style I was disappointed that I hadn't bought a pair at that time. When I saw them in the fall catalog I immediately went to the computer to order a pair and they were already sold out. Needles to say, when they were in the latest catalog I immediately ordered them. I am very happy with them and wear them with all of my jeans.

Bought these on a whim, and I'm SO glad I did! Super comfy and needed no breaking in. The suede is super soft and almost feel like you're wearing a pair of slippers, but there's enough cushioning and support to make these wonderful for walks in the park or running errands. Bought a waterproofing spray for suede shoes, and now these are ready to go for even more kinds of adventures! I normally wear a 7 in sneakers/hiking shoes, but from my experience LLBean shoes run just slightly large. Got a 6.5 in these, and they fit perfectly. Would love it if LLBean makes these in some other colorways as well. I'd snatch another color up very quickly!

I've been looking for a pair of these for decades! (I could find them in men's sizes but not women's.) True to the quality & tradition LL Bean is known for these chukkas are well made with handsome strong stitching, sturdy leather & soft rich suede. They are ready for easy outings and adventurous treks.

Perfect chukkas! I bought the classic suede. They are very well made, right down to the sturdy laces. They look fabulous and break-in easily.

I picked these shoes out as a Christmas gift and absolutely love them. They are a little big, but oh so comfortable. I could wear them all day with no problem. The store didn't have a smaller size for me to try on so kept the ones I received. No problem. Would highly recommend them.

I just got these today. They are comfortable right out of the box. I am super picky and shoes don't usually feel as comfortable as these booties. I would highly recommend these shoes. True to size. Comfortable. Cute.

I have been looking for these shoes for years! I just love them. They are great looking and very comfortable. I prefer my shoes to be a little loose rather than snug, so ordered a half size up. I wish I had thought to spray them with Scotch Guard before wearing them as I have managed to get a small spot on one shoe a few weeks ago. All in all, I couldn't be more delighted with my purchase.

I recently ordered these and got to try them out on a day of Christmas shopping. They did great and I can only imagine as the leather shifts to my feet they will be even better. My Mom (who has been searching for a year for boots) liked them on me so much she went and bought a pair in the smooth leather finish. My sister may also end up buying these! It is cold and snowy where we live, so these boots are great with their wide tread and grooves; I feel stable walking on ice. They are cute, but practical.

These shoes are my all time favorite shoe to wear. They are true to size and I'm very, very pleased. My feet don't hurt at all after wearing all day long. I'm 55 years old and go for comfort and not looks. These are both comfortable and look great. Have been looking for a pair of chukkas and the other brands are not as comfortable. I tried on several other brands and figured I had nothing to lose since I could send them back for free. I have never been more pleased.

It's the perfect boot for Fall. Wears great with jeans. Only thing I can think of to make it better would be a tab in the back to help pull on. Built well but I'll probably wear them out as they are so comfortable!

Very happy with these Chukkas, they are exactly what I was hoping they'd be. I've only worn them a few times so far, but they have been very comfortable even while shopping. I wear a wide width in sneakers/tennis shoes, but the Medium B width of these works fine for me.

I rarely buy footwear without trying them on first, but I decided to order these boots online. First of all they are nice looking, and best of all they fit perfectly. I am a size 8 typically, so that's what I ordered, and with a pair of medium weight socks, these boots are a comfortable fit.

I have high arches so right out of the box these aren't very supportive. I added a pair of insoles from Fleet Feet (my normal go-to) and ordered 1/2 size larger to accommodate the insoles. I would recommend a thicker sock in the beginning, as with all Bean boots/shoes I've purchased they rub my heel until they are properly broken in. They look exactly like the pictures from the website.

These shoes are a wonderful version of the tried and true desert bootie of the sixties. They run true to size for me but with lots of room for a thicker sock which I like in cold weather. They are soft around the ankle but not so soft that your ankle rolls. The inner sole has nice padding and there isn't much arch support, but I don't have a problem because the overall ankle support is enough.I ordered my regular size and could not have had it any bigger or smaller. As mentioned, the color is a beautiful warm light brown, not that yellow tan. I wore them all day right out of the box, but I will take them off long enough to spray them with waterproofing. I could not be happier with my shoes.

This shoe reminds me of the kind of shoe that I had when I was a teenager and I had been looking to find this kind of shoe again. Finally I found it. I really like it. It is very comfortable and stylish with jeans and other casual pants.
