These are the best womens chukkas on the market. Unfortunately they do not come in Wde Width.

I've been a fan of these boots for a long time and finally purchased with my LLBean credit card points. Should have listened to previous reviewers that the toe box was small so had to return for a larger size which is fine. LLBean exchanges are amazingly easy and surprisingly free!

Comfortable shoes,go nicely this time of year with jeans,flannel.

I ordered the shoes my normal size which is size 8. Being that there's way they are going to stretch out to form your foot. The size 8 I put on they fit like gloves I had absolutely no problems with the fit. As winter comes in my socks get heavier the shoes are still gonna fit perfectly because they're worn in vinyl they stretch a little because they're swayed but I've never had a problem had to wear a Band-Aid or anything there great shoes and great looking.

Boots are very nice and warm, love the color of the leather and very comfy for walking!

Great shoe, light weight , comfortable, true fit , I have a average foot. Fits nice around the ankle.

When I got them they looked stiff & uncomfortable so I just stuck them in my closet. When I finally decided to wear them I found this was not true. I had them on for several hours & they were still comfortable. I've actually been wearing them quite often.

Can't believe I found these again! Waited a lifetime and I'm sooo happy!!! Thanks LL Bean.

Very well made, NOT in China... comfortable from the first. Look forward to wearing these for years. Bought 8.5, fits well, sizing is accurate for my foot.

These are the real desert boot from the past. I have had many people stop and say how much they LOVE these.

Can't believe I found actual Chukka/Desert Boots for Women! I have been looking for many, many years and other than Clarks shoes I have not been able to find them! I received the LLbean catalog last week and low and behold! I ran down to the LLbean Outlet in Nashua, NH to see if they had any to try on for fit. One pair in my size and they fit great and feel great. Will be a slight break in period for the stiffness but boy am I thrilled!!!!!

I've wanted chukkas forever and was so happy to stumble on these. They fit perfectly. I wear a 7.5 or 8, I went with the 7.5 and it was a perfect fit. They were comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in required. Please don't ever stop selling this style! I almost want to order another pair, just in case. The toasted coconut color is beautiful and the quality is top notch. If you're thinking of ordering these shoes, don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Hi! I'm an L.L.Bean Student Ambassador at UMass Amherst and I would love to comment on how wonderful these chukkas are! They are such a put together casual boot; you can count on them to elevate a number of looks. Simply styling them with jeans and a flannel automatically has you feeling confident and ready to take on the day. I find no problems wearing these in my day to day life and on easy trails on the weekend. If you're looking for a casual shoe, I'd go for these ones! They fit just right and true to size.

Love the color, feel and quality of these Chukkas! I agree with others that there isn't enough arch support. I put in a Vionic insole for flat shoes and they fit beautifully now! I have ball of foot pain and a narrow foot. I usually wear a 9 in most shoes but an 8 1/2 fit best (I ordered both sizes). I plan on ordering another pair, in another color. I'm just waiting on a sale.

Unfortunately, I could not wear the shoes because of my problem feet.
