I have looked for a comfortable shoe with wide toe box and finally found a comfortable shoe!

I love my new Topos. The first time I wore them I ran 8 miles which I know isn't what your supposed to do, however, they felt so good when I tried them I that I couldn't resist. And they didn't disappoint. I had started to get foot pain with my old shoes but the Topos started improving that from run #1. Thanks Topos! #sweepstakes

The cushion in these make my long runs more comfortable and they are lightweight; my feet don't feel tight or constricted

I wear these ones for work. I'm a nurse in a busy ER so I'm on my feet 12+ hours a day. I also have bad knees that have suffered in the past due to not having good shoes. I started wearing Topos trail shoes for running and fell in love with this brand. Naturally started wearing them for work. I love that they have the wide toe box but it's much more accommodating for a narrow foot and only a 5mm drop. Couldn't ask for a better shoe!

Super-comfortable sneakers! Best fit ever for my "duck feet"; after finding this model, I dont' buy other sneakers and I have pairs for inside and outside use. The wide foot bed leaves plenty of space for ball of foot and toes. The heel is low, the arch support is good and the sole is quite thick, which spreads the weight across the foot - which makes it more comfortable and reduces metatarsal issues and pressure on the toes. Highly recommend.
I'd also recommend:
Altra, Oboz, Atrex, Keen

My feet smile when I put on my Topo shoes. No "breaking in" required; felt great immediately. With other shoes I have to rotate what I wear due to foot pain. None of that. Grateful to have found the Topo brand. #sweepstakes

I went shopping for new shoes and tried these on initially at a store. Ended up buying a half size larger based on their recommendations, and have since purchased 2 additional pairs. I have unique foot issues with plantar fasciitis in my left foot, and a poorly healed metatarsal fracture on my right. Phantom 2 is one on the few I have found that don't hurt either foot after wearing all day. I wear them all day at work (Registered Nurse) and have a separate pair for exercise at home.

I've run in zero-drop shoes for a few years now due to some metatarsal problems. The quality of the shoes that I was running in went way downhill over the years - started out dreamy and became pretty awful. I was so happy to find some Topos at my local running store. They fit my feet like a glove from the second I put them on. The 5mm drop in the Phantom is tolerable for my metatarsals. Lucky for me that Topo also makes 3mm and zero drop shoes that fit just as well! I love these and am really hoping that newer versions of these shoes don't lose the magic that they've got now.

This is the second pair of these shoes (I bought the first pair in a shoe store). I have wide feet and these have a nice roomy toebox.

I was fit for this pair of Topos when I explained Nikes were too narrow and my toes go numb after long distances. They gave me an option with a "wide toe box" (which I didn't even know existed).
It was also recommended to size up a full size. Normally I'm a 6.5 and I purchased as 7.5. These have been a game changer -- so comfortable. I don't even think about my feet during a run anymore.
I ordered a second pair (this time size 7) to see if the full size up was the best fit strategy...and while the 7 is still comfortable, the full size up is where it's at.
Love love love!

I seriously wanted to love these shoes! They were perfect except for the length.
I wear a 9.5, I tried a 9.5 and too short. I tried a 10 and they were still too short.
Bummer.

Both pairs felt great right out of the box! I just popped my second pair on for the first time at Disney World with no break-in period and had zero discomfort over 4 days of constant walking and standing. The wide toe box is a blessing for my feet and the shoes are well cushioned with great support that offers a little bounce when you walk. I have never had any athletic shoes that I actually felt had a great fit and great comfort until I found the Phantom 2. Kudo's to Stone Bridge Running store in Dixon, IL for recommending these shoes! Topo, don't change a thing about these shoesever!

I absolutely love this shoe! I've exclusively worn Altras for the past 5 years, but with their prices exponentially increasing, the quality going downhill, and getting TERRIBLE plantar fasciitis, I was fed up and decided to try Topos. The heel lock is amazing, the cushion is firm but responsive, the quality is TOP NOTCH, and my plantar fasciitis started getting better almost immediately. I am never looking back.

This model is best for my needs as I deal with hallucinations rigidus accompanied by osteoarthritis in my big toe joint and plantar fasciitis. They feel really good even without additional orthotics. So far the best and the toe box is wide enough but a little less than the ultra fly 4 that I have.

I'm a runner with bunions (runions?). I was experiencing big toe joint pain while running in New Balances. My local running shop put me in the Topo Phantom 2, and I've never looked back.
This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever run in. I love the low heel-to-toe drop. The insole is supportive and cushy on my arches. The heel feels secure without squeezing my ankle too tightly. The toe box is wide -- wider than Altra. This results in a very roomy forefoot. I can basically play piano with my toes, which I prefer in a foot-shaped shoe. I've tried other brands that make foot-shaped shoes and ended up with foot pain, even after adding some supportive insoles.
The Phantom 2 is my perfect shoe. I hope Topo never discontinues nor changes anything about the design. It ain't broke - please DON'T fix it.

I love the overall fit of my Topos. One thing I would ask is to please bring back the vibrant colors from a few years ago: fuschia, purple, blue, etc. The color choices of gray, white or Miami Dolphins colors are so limited. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing!

Excellent shoe! Wide toe box and thick, supportive sole. I have "duck feet" which are wide in front with a narrow heel, and these are perfect. They have space for my insoles / orthodics also. The Topo shoes (like the Altra) are shaped with the heel quite low, so the bodyweight is spread across the whole foot and into the heel (by contrast, Hoka shoes are higher in the heel and lower in the toe, so there's more weight on the front of the foot. Both brands are great, it's just a different type of fit).
I'd also recommend:
Altra, Hoka, Oboz, Altrex, Sofft, Keen.

This is my first pair of Topo's and likely won't be my last. I'd honestly never heard of the brand until my sister-in-law took me to a small shoe store in town where she gets her shoes from. The salesman recommended these, and I'm so glad he did. The most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had. I have tendinitis in both feet and a fallen arch in my right, so my right ankle rolls inward when I walk. Finding comfortable shoes with the right support is near impossible, but these fit my foot like they were tailor-made just for me. With the wide toe box and all the support in the sole, it's like walking barefoot. I can barely feel the shoe it fits so well. The only downside is a tiny one. They run a tad small. I normally wear a 9.5 and these are a 10, but otherwise, it's an absolute perfect fit for my feet.
