Bought for a bit of hiking and dog walking in the winter. So far so good. Would go a size up from your normal. Extremely comfortable and good support all round

After trading in my traditional leather boots due to leakage in decided to try the new free hiker. More robust than the previous free hiker, very good fit. Looking forward to putting some miles on them.

Only worn once so far, bat never had such warm and dry feet after a long day out running cross country in the pouring rain. Had hoped a softer shoe (previously an Inov8 wearer) would solve symptoms of pain in balls of feet, but now think it's probably my feet at the moment). Never finished after 5 hours with dry feet! Excellent.

Nice and sporty design, warm and comfortable to walk in.

These really are comfy and the added gore-tex is sure to keep my feet dry in wet conditions! I would definitely recommend!

Took these on a 13k hike fresh out of the box and they preformed well. Very comfy and as you'd expect with the gore tex upper they are completely waterproof. Not the cheapest option but definitely worth the investment if you're going to use them regularly.

Look great, super warm and waterproof. A bit of a pain to put on due to the inner but you get use to it.

Warm shoe for cold conditions. Size has to be TWO sizes above normal Boost shoes. So my normal shoe size is 44. For Boost-casual shoes I go for 45 1/3 and for those winter-shoes it has to be 46 2/3

Zipping up the boots is not great. It is a tight fit even though I got the boots a size bigger

Would recommend. Bit pricey but quality is good, along with fit and comfort. These are definitely cold ready. Winter shoe only. Would be too warm for summer.

These are my second pair due to the first ones having the sole peel off slightly. The new ones don't have that problem and they are supper comfy! But only problem being they now squeak a bit when I walk but otherwise, does everything else great. Waterproof and warm, lightweight yada yada, recommend. :)

Second pair (1st humanmade jet black) I've bought because the zip, without incident, popped & rendered them useless. Aside from that they look great & wear great. Without the zip pop these at 5/5

Incredibly comfy, warm that everyone else said etc etc, and just so light and comfy. My first pair the sole did peel a bit at the back but when I complained, they took them back and sent a new one and I'm still more than happy with them and for comfort and style combo, they are defo the best!

I purchased these and the free hiker 2 to walk my dog in, so although I am putting miles on them it's definitely not rugged extreme condition use I'm giving them. I Love the style and fit. They had me worried because they felt tight at first but after a few wears they fit tts. My only issue is that the black midsole is painted black and is white underneath. After a few wears I can see cracks in the paint forming. Also even though the boot seems to keep water from seeping in sweat stains show on the outside on the lighter green portion. Overall I'm satisfied since the midsole paint isn't cracking anywhere near as much as the free hiker 2, but time will tell.

Amazing protection but it runs a little small. Get half size bigger for wide feet

Nothing bad about this product other than the tightness around the ankle once fully zipped up. Ordered half size up. Maybe it's possible to stretch out a bit, however I've decided to return in case becomes uncomfortable in the long hike

These performed very well until I went walking through longer grass on a day when rain ran down my trousers onto the front of the boot. Water egressed through the zip. Oh and it takes an age for the uppers to dry after wear Everything else about the boot is great. Just don't expect it to be fully waterproof

Does what it says on the tin so far. The real test will be this winter
