This shoe fits me a little bigger, but that’s what I wanted because I allowed space for a heavier sock. The first time I wore them I walked in the woods for an hour. Very comfortable. I really like these shoes. And they look good too.

I have been on a quest for a lace-up waterproof ankle boot that is both cute and comfortable. I have returned so many pairs of boots for being uncomfortable, unattractive, or both. Had never heard of Aravon, but I saw these on Zappos and decided to give them a try. Hit the jackpot with these! The soft material at the ankle is so much more comfortable than many boots I've tried where the leather rubs my ankle bone. They fit well and look great.

Very comfortable right out of the box except for the tongue of the shoe rubbed ever so slightly in front of my ankle. Good support, very light weight and makes my foot look smaller than it is since I wear an 11 size shoe.

These are surprisingly lightweight and quite comfortable. They seem like they'll be durable. Stylish for such a functional boot. The reason I bought these, was because my old (similar) boots always felt so heavy on my feet by the end of the day. I absolutely love how lightweight they are. The only down-side that I anticipate, is the zipper. It gets caught a little bit around the thicker padding of the ankle, and where it curves more lower down. It's not too bad (still worth its other features). I hope the zipper holds up. I think it would have been a better design to stick with the usual zipper going straight down the inner side of the boot, instead of the outer area. Makes for a nice design, but not as easy of a zip. I still love them.

9.5 EE felt more like a 9.5 medium.

I really like these. The shape is good. I really like the look, the grey detailing at the top is more subtle in person. The curved zipper makes it easier to get the foot in. The laces adjust slightly. The sole is comfortable. Unfortunately their EE just isn't wide enough for my foot.

I bought these in 2020 and still use them every winter. They are the best boots I’ve owned in my life (65+ years). I have a wide width, high instep, high arch, normal heel. I bought Yak Trax and leave them on the boots for safety on ice. I’ve stepped in slush puddles and my feet stayed dry. I hope these are available forever and never change. Oh, and it is SO convenient to tie the boots correctly once and then zip them on and off. The only footwear I’ve ever recommended unconditionally.

My go to shoe for inclement weather. Easy to put on. Comfortable. Can be worn with jeans or dress slacks. Waterproof.

I purchased these for an trip to Alaska where I wanted protection for walking on various surfaces and some distance. These worked wonderfully. I have since used them on other trips, as well as some rainy/icy days when commuting to work. I have found them comfortable -- no easy feat given my wide foot due to bunions.

I love these boots and am amazed I found a pair on the first try. They do fit loosely, as other posters have noted. However, I can wear them regardless, and if needed, can add a 2nd pair of socks. I ordered the 1/2 size up that I ALWAYS do, for all my shoes, yet these are slightly loose in the heel. I removed the insert for orthotics - with both, they were too tight. The toe box is sufficient and does not squeeze my toes together - a main concern for me. My favorite special attribute of these boots is the zipper - so easy! - I really love not having to tie and untie; the only challenge was remembering this and not pulling on the laces automatically :).

Bought these last year and wish I bought another pair. Very comfortable and they look small on these big size 12 feet. Also I have a narrow heel, bunions and I'm getting hammer toes. Had plantar faciaitis and their is fair arch. Comfortable to wear out for several hours without pain.

So I went on a spree of searching, ordering, and trying on waterproof low boots. I have a slightly hard to fit foot (normal is a 6.5D due to bunions but recently I am finding that I need an extra wide so perhaps my bunions are growing). I have narrow ankles though so getting a good tight fit there can be hard. I a also picky about how it feels across my toes and in the arch and heel. This shoe met my needs. Although it took several different sizes before I found the right fit. The 6.5D was tight and short; the 7D was fine in length but tight in width; the 7EE was perfect. My only option at the time in that size was the Stone Blue as opposed to the black (which I got with the smaller size). I had originally wanted black to be more versatile since this was for travel and needed to match more things. However I found the stone blue to be much more appealing to me than the black -- I think that the grey band at the ankle on the black was too jarring. I also like the fact that this boot makes my wide foot look dainty and delicate somehow -- rare with my width needs.

These shoes are the bomb, great style, comfortable. I'm only returning because of a weird bunion on my foot, not the fault of the shoes.

Loved them!!! So hard to find shoes that fit my wide feet! Comfy right away, and WATERPROOF. These instantly became my everyday shoes for winter.

Great rain boots! Comfortable for all day walking and they're stylish. Win, win, win! Planning on taking them on my Fall European trip so my feet will be warm and comfortable for walking in rain. I love them so much I bought a second pair for when the current boots are worn out. I don't know what boots another reviewer was describing, but these are substantial with great support. Nothing negative about them for me.

These fit great! I wear a narrow but with winter socks, they fit perfectly. Easy on and easy off too.

I love these boots! They are perfect to wear on a messy winter day when the snow is not really deep and you are doing errands. Easy on and off.
