I found this shoe to be very uncomfortable with inadequate arch support.

This sandal almost worked for me. I have high arches, and the ankle strap is too short and simply won't cover the velcro, so there is exposed velcro when closed. In the red color this stands out pretty clearly. I might put up with this picky cosmetic issue, but the arch support seems to fall too far back, too close to the heel on my feet. if it hit properly I'm guessing it would be very good. Sorry, but I need to return these. These are similar to SAS' Nudu which hits my arches perfectly. Nudu does have the same issue with the strap however. In my reading of other reviews this seems a common complaint that those of us with high arches have with velcro closing sandals. Not sure how to remedy this. It would be a boon to women like me to resolve the problem. I'd give the style a 5 if the strap was long enough. So if you don't have my arch problem you might give this a try. I put no arch support because there wasn't any for me given where the shoe hit my foot.

Nice shoe but I was looking for something a little cuter for my old, 68 year old feet.

I have extremely wide feet, and this has been my go-to sandal for several years. I live in Houston, so I wear sandals 9-10 months out of the year. HOWEVER, I have had three pairs break one after the other. Upon comparison to a really old a pair that I kept for gardening, it seems that Aravon has changed the little connector piece on the back strap from metal to plastic, and now it does not last. I'm really disappointed, and out several hundred dollars. I have spoken to Zappos customer service, and the promised to raise the issue with the manufacturer, which is good, but for now, it's not the best shoe.

I love the style of this sandal, but I had to return it. Technically, it fit, but the strap near the toes dug into the top of my foot when I walked.

These are nice looking and good quality, but they ran big, and were an odd fit. They made my feet look skewed to the side. Something about Aravon hurts my arch. I wish they would have worked. They have good padded soles.

I bought these shoes for a trip that would require a lot of walking on uneven surfaces. They seemed perfect when I received them, very comfortable and adjustable in many directions. But after wearing them only a few days, the insoles (some man-made product) began to smell like dirty tennis shoes. I tried to clean them, but could not eliminate the smell. I have never had this problem with any other sandals. Also, after 2 weeks of daily wear some of the straps stretched to the point that the velcro would barely attach. For a shoe of this price, I am very dissatisfied.
